Struggling with knee pain, injury, or a chronic knee condition? 🦵

Acupuncture can support your recovery and help manage a wide range of knee issues, including arthritis, ligament strains, meniscus injuries, tendonitis, and general wear and tear.

Here’s how acupuncture may help:

✨ Reduce pain by stimulating the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals
✨ Decrease inflammation and swelling
✨ Improve blood flow to support tissue repair
✨ Relax tight muscles around the joint
✨ Improve range of motion and mobility
✨ Support recovery alongside physiotherapy or rehabilitation

Whether your knee pain is recent or something you’ve been managing for years, acupuncture offers a gentle, drug-free approach focused on restoring balance and function.

If knee discomfort is limiting your movement or affecting your quality of life, acupuncture could be a valuable part of your treatment plan. 🌿

In clinic I use Evil Bone Water as part of my acupuncture treatments to support patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) pain.

It’s a topical herbal liniment traditionally used to help:
• ease muscle and joint discomfort
• support circulation to injured or tense areas
• complement needling, cupping and manual therapy
• help patients move more comfortably during and after treatment

For many people with back pain, neck tension, sports injuries, and chronic MSK conditions, combining acupuncture with targeted topical support can enhance the overall treatment experience and recovery process.

Every treatment is tailored to the individual and tools like Evil Bone Water are one of the ways I help patients get the best possible outcomes.

Happy Chinese New Year! 🧧✨

As we welcome a new lunar cycle, it’s a beautiful time to reset, restore balance, and nurture your wellbeing. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, each year is an opportunity to harmonise the body’s Qi, strengthen resilience, and align with the rhythms of nature.

Acupuncture and TCM focus on prevention as much as healing—supporting energy flow, improving sleep, easing stress, and helping the body adapt to seasonal change. The start of the new year is the perfect moment to set intentions for health, vitality, and inner balance.

May this year bring you renewed energy, calm minds, and strong bodies. Wishing you prosperity, harmony, and good health in the year ahead. 🌿

Friday Evenings. A Different Kind of Reset. ☯️

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the transition from day to evening is when Yang softens and Yin begins to rise, the body’s natural cue to slow down, restore and rebalance.

I am now offering acupuncture appointments on Fridays from 5pm onwards

This is a dedicated space at the end of the week to regulate Qi, settle the nervous system, and address the root of what’s been building — whether that’s stress, pain, fatigue, sleep disruption, or hormonal imbalance.

As a BAcC registered acupuncturist, my practice is grounded in traditional diagnostic methods and safe, evidence-informed care, tailored to each individual.

Think of it as preventative care as much as treatment, supporting the body before imbalance becomes illness.

Quiet clinic. Unhurried appointments. Intentional care.

Friday evening spaces are limited each week.
Message or contact the clinic to book.

Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, guided by traditional acupuncture principles and informed by ongoing professional training and clinical experience. It’s a privilege to work alongside such thoughtful, committed patients and to be part of their healthcare journey.

Acupuncture is used by many people as a supportive therapy for wellbeing and symptom management, and treatments are always delivered in line with BAcC professional standards.

In modern Western society, we eat by the clock, not by hunger.
We drink coffee instead of water.
We push through exhaustion and trade sleep for productivity.

Traditional Chinese Medicine reminds us that balance doesn’t come from doing more but from listening better.

The 4 Golden Rules of Classical Acupuncture are simple, timeless, and often forgotten:
• Eat only when hungry
• Drink only when thirsty
• Rest when tired
• Sleep early

In a fast-paced world, returning to these basics can be a powerful act of self-care.

❓️ Which of these feels hardest to honour in your daily life?
