Healthwatch Liverpool has three main functions in the city to provide Information, Scrutiny & NHS Complaints Advocacy. Healthwatch Information & Scrutiny:
This is a single point of contact to supply information and advice about the city’s health and social care services. The team also gathers information and intelligence about health and care services to help improve them. Healthwatch NHS Complaints Advocacy:
Independent Healthwatch Advocacy in Merseyside & Cheshire is a free, independent and confidential advocacy service. It will support people to navigate their way around the NHS complaints procedure and help them understand their options in order to make informed choices and have a voice.

Your feedback will help improve the quality, compassion, and consistency of care for people across our region.

There are three surveys available — for people currently receiving care, for relatives and friends, and for those who have been bereaved.

What is Healthwatch Liverpool?

We are your independent, local champion for health and social care services. Think of us as the link between you and the people who run NHS and social care services in Liverpool.

1️⃣ We Listen To You - our main job is to hear about your experiences: good or bad. Whether it's about your GP, dentist, hospital or care home, your story helps us understand what's working and what needs to improve.
2️⃣ We use your voice - We don't just collect stories. We share what you tell us (anonymously) with the decision-makers in Liverpool and at a national level. We use your feedback in reports and meetings to push for real, positive changes in local services.
3️⃣ We give you information & signpost - Unable to find a mental health service? Not sure which service to contact? We provide clear, confidential information and signpost you to the right local support for your needs.
4️⃣ The Live Well Directory - We managed Liverpool service information on The Live Well Directory! It's your one-stop shop to find local groups, services and activities for your health and wellbeing [link in bio]
