Healthwatch Liverpool has three main functions in the city to provide Information, Scrutiny & NHS Complaints Advocacy. Healthwatch Information & Scrutiny:
This is a single point of contact to supply information and advice about the city’s health and social care services. The team also gathers information and intelligence about health and care services to help improve them. Healthwatch NHS Complain

ts Advocacy:
Independent Healthwatch Advocacy in Merseyside & Cheshire is a free, independent and confidential advocacy service. It will support people to navigate their way around the NHS complaints procedure and help them understand their options in order to make informed choices and have a voice.

Liverpool City Council would like to hear your views on a new policy for charging for non-residential adult social care services. This means that if you receive care and support arranged by the council, what you pay towards the cost of your care and support may change.

Cancer Research UK will be at Church Street this Tuesday/Wednesday (1st/2nd July 2025). Details below 👇

Cancer Research UK is hosting a roadshow in Liverpool tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday with all you need to know about cancer.
If you have any questions, the roadshow will be in Church Street in the city centre from 10am to 4pm on both days and you can chat to a nurse about small health changes to reduce your risk of developing cancer.
You can also learn about cancer screening and spotting cancer early, when treatment is more effective.
Pop down and have a chat with the team - they'd love to see you!

🗣️ Our new lived experience co-chair and deputy co-chair have been elected for the Learning Disability Co-production Partnership Board and learning disability Subgroups (a safe space to meet to discuss what we want to put forward in the main meetings).

🤝 Lisa (co-chair) and Patrick (deputy co-chair) met with Jason (Director of Adult Social Care and Health Operations at Liverpool City Council) this week to discuss how co-chairing meetings will work going forward.
