I have to say it’s been a fabulous day at Dr Stavrou’s “The surgical centre” Nicosia Cyprus , being able to exchange ideas and pick up tips to maximising aesthetic outcomes with both smooth surface and Polyurethane implants. Learning is a life long exercise and it is quintessential to constantly improve my skills to ensure excellent outcomes for my patients. A huge thanks to the selfless and generous sharing of knowledge and skills by Dr Stavrou and to Silimed ( Joanna Kopec and Matthias ) for the opportunity to join this expert circle meeting.

Delighted to receive this beautiful card from our recent patient who has undergone breast reduction-augmentation with Silimed implants , this is what I would describe as Minus+Plus procedure. Reduce breast tissue and augment with implant to basically rejuvenate the breasts , fuller cleavage and pert breasts . +plusprocedure

A huge thanks to our patient for consenting to share these before and after photographs. Her concerns were…

1. Painful capsular contractures
2. Droopiness - waterfall appearance of breasts
3. Large size of implants/ breasts size

Her wish lists were
1. Enbloc capsulectomy
2. Exchange the larger 385cc polyurethane implants with smaller smooth implants
3. Uplift breasts with pert and proportionately sized breasts.

I have done an enbloc capsulectomy , exchanged the old polyurethane implants with smooth Silimed round moderate projection implants and have uplifted the ni**les/breasts thereby achieving all her desired outcomes.

Thank you for these lovely cards and gifts. I need to stress here that breast cancer care is not a one man job but a team effort , the most important person in supporting the patient all the way through their treatments is our Breast care nurses and the support staff. I get immense job satisfaction when I see my patients complete their treatments and come through the end of what can sometimes be a very difficult journey.

A huge thanks to our delightful patient for consenting to share this ontable post-op results. She wished to have breasts enhanced with implants to get fullness in her empty upper poles and uplift the breasts and ni**le. A 340cc implants have been placed in a subfacial pocket and an uplift done to move the ni**le to higher position in the breasts.
