Welcome to INSYCD by Treatment Table

INSCYD is a physiology test that reveals an athlete’s current fitness and metabolic strengths and weaknesses—in other words, how an athlete’s body burns oxygen and fuel. The test results can show whether an athlete should be a stronger sprinter or time trialist, a punchy climber, or an all-rounder!

INSCYD testing will measure VO2max (aerobic power), VLamax (glycolytic power), anaerobic threshold (maximal lactate steady state), economy, fat combustion, carbohydrate combustion, fatigue & recovery, and energetic contributions!

These can be done remotely or in clinic as part of our athlete testing program! 💪🏻

This may seem counterintuitive.

You go see a physio with sore bit. The treatment…lift a heavy weight…I understand that this might make you think we’re a bit mental. But the research is clear, rest doesn’t help your tendons. It *might* make the pain go away…. but then you run again and you release it was a lie 🤥

Now theirs obviously common sense to be applied here. A pi**ed off Patella tendon won’t like 1.5x body weight squats (not right away 😏) but body weight won’t cut it.

That’s were coming to see a professional comes in, we need to find the limits of your pain, determine what’s safe and work together to find that sweet spot for progress 👌🏻

Exciting times being able to offer Arthrosamid by Contura Orthopaedics. 🧫

This product offers a lot of hope to people struggling with Osteoarthritis 🦴

I’m not one to promote the products advertised as a ‘one off quick fix’ but this does seem different with some solid science behind it.

In a single treatment (6x1ml injections) pain from Osteoarthritis can be reduced greatly, without any side effects to the joint space.

Exciting times indeed.
