We are proud to be partnering up with the Good Funeral Company to bring you their first ever "Death Cafe"

💚 What is a Death Café?
A Death Café is a small, informal community gathering where people meet over coffee to talk openly about death, dying, grief and loss in a relaxed café setting.
💚 Purpose of the event
The aim is to break down the taboos around talking about death and make these conversations more natural, social and supportive.
💚 What we will talk about
Conversations may include bereavement and grief, what to do when a loved one dies, planning a funeral, or thinking ahead about your own wishes.
💚 Who is it for?
Open to anyone in the community! There is no agenda, belief system, or pressure to share personal experiences. Just listen, chat or ask questions.
💚 How it works
The session is gently facilitated by our local funeral celebrants who will guide the conversation, helping to keep the space respectful, welcoming and inclusive.

As Always anyone is welcome to join.

If you’re finding things difficult, reaching out for a conversation can be a powerful first step.

Talking about how we feel isn’t always easy, but even a simple chat can offer comfort, connection and support - especially on days when things feel heavier than usual.

This Time to Talk Day, we’re joining Mind in encouraging gentle, honest conversations about mental health. Checking in with ourselves, and with the people around us, can make a real difference - no matter how small the moment may seem.

We all need a hug occasionally

Sending the warmest hugs to everyone missing a loved one today While we can't feel their physical presence, we can hold onto the love and memories that fill the empty spaces in our hearts. May you feel their spirit in the quiet moments and find comfort in knowing love never truly leaves. We remember them with you.

10/01/2026

We remember those whose funerals have taken place this week and all those who grieve their loss.
