Thanks so very much to everyone who came along today to see our Mannin Cancer Help Centre. It was lovely to meet you all. We are so very proud of how our Centres turned out and can’t wait to open the doors to patients and their families on Monday 5th January. Massive thank you to our team today it was a very busy day! Thanks to Karen Wagstaffe our Centre Manager and Louise Thomas who will work closely with her. We have already seen an excellent uptake in the use of our diagnostic pathway and significantly reduced time to treatment for several patients who contacted us.

We are getting same-week PET CT, pulmonary function testing, ctDNA and EBUS to speed patients through the pathway. Furthermore, we are doing MDTs to robustly discuss our cases and ensure our patients are getting the best, peer-reviewed treatment.

We are being contacted by patients from North Wales , Cheshire & Merseyside and the Isle of Man. Therefore, we've amended our profile to encourage any patient to contact us, no matter where they live.
