We are looking for 9 volunteers to take part in our Cardiology ECHO Workshop. All volunteers will receive an additional certificate.

As a volunteer, you will assist by allowing others to practice ECHO techniques in a supervised environment.
Please be aware due to the nature of an ECHO, clothing should be removed from the waist up at the time of imaging. A gown/cover can be provided.

No special preparation is needed - just your time and willingness to help!

🚨ATTENTION🚨

LivCardioSoc are excited to announce our 2025 cardio conference 🫀

📌Save the date: Saturday 10th May, 9:00-16:30 in the Sir Ken Dodd Education and Knowledge Centre at LHCH📌

The conference will consist of talks on careers in cardiology and cardiac surgery alongside 3 workshops: suturing, echo and a new laparoscopic workshop ‼️‼️

Thank you to everyone that attended our charity bake sale last Tuesday and enjoyed the tasty treats 😋

We are hugely grateful for all the donations - we managed to raise a whopping £193.49 for LHCH charity!!!! ❤️

This money has gone straight to the charity to help fund their amazing research and improve patient care through new facilities, resources and equipment!

This Tuesday come join us in the Mandela Room, UoL Guild to talk all things cardiology 🩺🫀

We’ll be giving an intro to cardiology and tips on CV building as a med student, with an opportunity for Q+As at the end ✨✨✨

We also hope this will be a chance for you to get to know our society and see what we have in store for the rest of the year

Calling all 1st and 2nd years! 📣

Cardiosoc are looking for current medical students to talk to prospective medical students about their experiences applying to medical school, any top tips they have and life now they’re a medical student! 📚

This will be in association with Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital (LHCH) and is a great opportunity for building your CV! 🫀
