I’m really excited to share that I’ll be speaking at my first sober event next month — and this genuinely feels like the start of something important.
These events aren’t just for people in recovery. They’re for everyone.
They’re about harm reduction, real choice, and creating spaces that feel safe, alive, and welcoming.
If you go out every weekend, every month — why not try one sober weekend and see what it’s like? No pressure. No labels. Just connection.
Sober spaces aren’t about taking something away — they’re about offering something different.
A sanctuary where people can dance, laugh, connect, and vibe without substances having to carry the night.
Good music. Mindful energy. Like-minded people. A place where you can just be.
This matters for younger generations too. We have to practice what we preach.
When the sober community shows that joy, belonging, and connection don’t require substances, it changes the narrative. It shows another way is possible.
I’m proud to be supporting and moving forward with sober, mindful events like this, and I’m really looking forward to working with New Direction CIC in the future. I hope this is the first of many.
Good people.
Good energy.
A safe space to land.
This is what harm reduction, prevention, and community can look like.
