We had a lovely visit this morning from a local nursery in Walton, who came to spend some time in our Library 💚

Lorraine and Sophie from our Learning team read a story to the nursery children and helped them with some colouring in. Everyone had a great time!

Walton Library is already starting to become a great community space since we relaunched the Library service. We have a fantastic selection of books for children and adults, call in if you'd like to sign up for a Library card.

An author who grew up in Liverpool has donated some of his books to Walton Library at The Life Rooms, and shared some memories of visiting Walton Library as a child. 💚

“Walton Library was the first library I every went to,” recalled Laurence Croft, who is 82 this year. “The libraries had such a big influence on me when I was growing up in Liverpool and that’s why I donated the books."
