We’re proud to support World Mental Health Day 2025.
This year’s theme is: ‘Access to Services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies’.
At Listening Ear Merseyside, we support thousands of children, young people and adults facing wide-ranging emotional distress and trauma, this includes providing community response plans following an incident.
We provide support within 24 hours for those bereaved by a su***de, alongside support for those experiencing, bereavement, loss, and difficult life experiences including domestic abuse.
Our work is only possible thanks to the generosity of those who believe in the power of compassionate support through access to mental health services. Often at the worst time in their lives, people find hope and solace in the services we provide.
In times of crisis - whether personal or global - access to mental health support is vital.
“When someone reaches out in their darkest moment, knowing that help is there can make all the difference. At Listening Ear, we’re here to listen, care, and walk alongside people as they begin to heal. Guided by compassion, a nurturing approach, and integrity in how we respond to each person’s needs, our mission is to help people of all ages affected by difficult life experiences — empowering them not just to survive, but to truly thrive.
If you’re struggling, please know you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support is a brave and important first step, and we are here to listen, understand, and support you every step of the way. None of this would be possible without the generosity of those who believe in the power of compassionate support.”
