1-to-1 coaching gives children something incredibly powerful 💛
A safe space, just for them.

At Resilient Kids Academy, our 1-to-1 sessions give children the time, attention and support they need to talk openly, explore their feelings and learn practical tools to manage them.

It’s a space where they can feel heard, understood and supported — without pressure or judgement.

At Resilient Kids Academy, we work directly with schools to support pupils’ mental health and wellbeing in meaningful, practical ways.

Tracey and the team deliver:
✔️ One-off talks for pupils (small groups or whole year cohorts)
✔️ 1-to-1 support for children who need individualised care
✔️ Small-group sessions focusing on emotions, confidence and social skills

Our sessions help children understand what mental health is, how to look after it, and how to support others. We also teach practical strategies for managing emotions, coping with stress and improving communication.

Through tailored 1-to-1 support, we take time to truly get to know each pupil — helping them build confidence, handle emotions, develop social skills and feel more secure in themselves.

By reducing worries and strengthening emotional wellbeing, pupils are better able to settle, concentrate and stay present in the classroom — allowing learning to come first.

We know schools can’t always provide the level of individual support needed due to time and staffing pressures. That’s where we come in.

Three things Tracey wishes she knew before becoming a children’s coach 💛

1️⃣ Personal growth is unavoidable
This work stretches you in ways you don’t expect. You grow alongside the children and families you support.

2️⃣ Confidence doesn’t arrive once you’re qualified
It builds with experience, reflection and showing up — even on the days you feel unsure.

3️⃣ This work can be full on and hard
Some days are emotionally heavy, but we honestly wouldn’t change it for a thing. The impact makes it all worthwhile.

At Resilient Kids Academy, this honesty sits at the heart of what we do. If you’re looking for support for your child, we offer 1-2-1 coaching sessions.

A new year is here, but at Resilient Kids Academy we don’t do New Year’s resolutions.

Instead, we focus on gentle goals and trying to be just 1% better each day than we were the day before. Small steps really do add up 💛

This year, Tracey is making space for more self-care — a habit she never quite got to build during Covid, but one she’s ready to prioritise now.

That same approach is what we encourage for children too. Progress doesn’t need to be loud or perfect, just consistent and kind.

If you’d like to support your child with emotional wellbeing, confidence or calm, we offer 1-2-1 coaching sessions.

Sometimes our children just need a little help to slow things down 💛

Simple breathing exercises can make a huge difference when children are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or struggling to focus. One of our favourites is finger tracing breathing — quiet, gentle and easy to do anywhere, even in the classroom.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth while tracing each finger helps calm the body and mind without drawing attention.

If you’d like to learn more breathing tools like this, or want to support your child on a deeper level, we offer 1-2-1 coaching sessions tailored to your child’s needs.

🌬️ Another simple breathing tip from Resilient Kids Academy – Finger Tracing 🌬️

Feeling anxious or overwhelmed? Try this calm-down technique you can do anywhere, even quietly under your table.

👉 Gently trace around the fingers of one hand with the other.
👉 Breathe in through your nose as you trace up a finger.
👉 Breathe out through your mouth as you trace down.

This is Tracey’s top tip and it’s brilliant if you’re in class or in an environment where you don’t want to be seen meditating. Discreet, calming and effective 💛

Our little ones are growing up in a world that can feel pretty big — and sometimes a bit scary. As adults, we don’t always realise what they’re quietly carrying. 💛

Here are a few worries we’re hearing more about from children in 2026:

🌿 Climate & the environment — wildfires, floods and global warming can make kids worry about animals, nature, and even their own neighbourhood.

📱 Technology, AI & privacy — with devices everywhere, some children feel unsure about what’s being collected, whether they’re being watched, or even whether they could be “replaced”.

🌐 Online safety & bullying — social media, gaming chats and group messages can bring pressure, scams, harmful content or unkind behaviour.

📚 School pressure & exams — marks, tests and future plans can feel overwhelming, especially for children who think they have to be perfect.

📰 World events & uncertainty — news about wars, politics or the cost of living can make young people feel unsafe, even when home life is steady.

The most powerful support? Calm chats, reassurance, and practical tools that help them feel heard and grounded. We’re here to help you do exactly that. 🌼
