Get ready for a breathtaking celestial event! 🌙

On September 7–8, 2025, the world will witness a total lunar eclipse lasting more than 5 hours, with about 82 minutes of totality when the Moon will be fully immersed in Earth’s shadow, glowing in deep red and copper tones.

Best viewing:

Africa & Europe: Evening sky

Asia & Australia: Late night / early morning

Pacific Islands: Excellent visibility

What makes this eclipse even more special is that the Moon will be only 2.6 days from perigee, appearing slightly larger and darker than usual — creating a rare and spectacular Super Blood Moon.

Mark your calendars, choose a clear viewing spot, and enjoy this awe-inspiring astronomical phenomenon that will unite stargazers across the globe!

Lazy Saturday at home planning yoga classes. Today is National Grief Awareness Day & having already spent a full day at a bereavement conference with my Team Jak hat on this week, this has really got me thinking…

None of us are immune to grief…death is a certainty in all of our lives & so are other losses; break ups, illness, injuries & those associated with the privilege of growing older. The one thing that stops me from spiralling into the great dark abyss is that wherever there is loss there was love & wherever there is love there is hope.

I’ve known for a while now that part of my journey is to walk beside those in darkness and pain and I honestly don’t think I could do that if I didn’t have hope. So as I write this post under a grey sky with an autumnal smell in the air, I encourage you all to keep looking for rainbows, butterflies, unicorns & any other glimmers that give you hope. Today my glimmer came in the form of my home grown strawberries which I finally got to before my little garden friends.
