🎒 Supporting the Move from Primary to Secondary School 🎒

At Kairos Support Solutions, I’m planning to offer a gentle, creative Drawing and Talking group to support young people who are transitioning from P7 into S1.

This group will provide a safe and nurturing space for children to:
🖍 Explore their thoughts and feelings about high school
🤝 Connect with others going through the same transition
🛠 Build emotional confidence and resilience
🧠 Express themselves through drawing and storytelling (no artistic skill needed!)

The transition to secondary school is a big milestone, and this group aims to ease some of the emotional load in a non-clinical, therapeutic setting.

💡 I’m currently gathering interest to help shape the sessions – including preferred locations, timings, and school catchment areas.

🚨 Last-Minute Invite – Wellbeing Group Taster Session Tomorrow! 🚨

I know this is short notice, but I’d love to invite charities, community groups, and organisations to a free taster session of my therapeutic wellbeing group happening tomorrow (Thurs, 27th Feb) at Remidy Alternative Health shop in Whitburn.

This session was originally planned as a women’s group, but I want to show how it can be adapted for any demographic—including children, older adults, men, women, carers, LGBT+ groups, and more.

If your organisation supports people who could benefit from a safe, reflective space, I’d love to show you how this group works and how it could be tailored for your community.

Mid-Term Break Reflections & A Check-In

It’s been a week of both challenges and small victories! Between decluttering (with a little much help from my mum, because sometimes we all need a hand!), looking after my little one who's been under the weather, and catching up on some much-needed self-care, I've been reflecting a lot on how we manage life's pressures.

I've poured all these thoughts into a new blog post, "Decluttering the Mind & Space: My Mid-Term Break Reflections," where I share how leaning on our support systems (and sometimes asking for help) can make all the difference.
