Every Christmas, River Kids Children's Charity helps bring a little sparkle to families across West Lothian and we’re delighted to do our bit to spread some festive cheer. ✨

Earlier this week, Declan was delighted to join Kirsteen Sullivan for Bathgate and Linlithgow MP and a fantastic group of local community representatives to help judge this year’s Christmas Card Competition. 💛

There was so much incredible talent from local pupils. It really was a tough decision! A huge well done to everyone who took part and to their teachers for encouraging such creativity and festive spirit.

We’re proud to support young people and our local community, so being part of something that celebrates their imagination and hard work was truly special. 🌟

We were delighted to welcome Warren, Paul, and the team from to our service recently.

It was clear from their visit that S.M.I.L.E. and HSF share a deep commitment to supporting mental wellbeing and building stronger, healthier communities.

We’re incredibly grateful to have received a £10,000 grant from The Hospital Saturday Fund, which will help us work to support young people in West Lothian as they transition from primary to secondary school, a time that can bring significant stress, anxiety, and uncertainty, especially for those already facing challenges at home or socially.

This support will allow us to provide early mental health intervention during this key period, helping young people build confidence, emotional resilience, and stronger support networks.

A huge thank you to The Hospital Saturday Fund for making this possible 💜
