With an estimated 70,000 thoughts a day - it really is impossible to ‘stop thinking’, ‘clear your mind’ or ‘empty all thoughts’.
But we can learn to observe and notice thoughts, and let them move on, without getting dragged down the rabbit hole of what ifs, might happens, should have happened.....
If you feel that you are the kind of person that get’s stuck on a thought, which then spirals into so many more that just feel overwhelming, a quick tool is simply deep breathing.
But instead of focusing on your inhale and gulping in a breath, focus on your exhale.
Engage in deep, slow exhales to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote relaxation in your mind and body.
You can do this at home or work, for free, in minutes, as a simple step to help yourself in moments of need.
However if you are ready to learn how truly work with your thoughts, so these moments happen less, don’t feel so overwhelming and you are teaching your brain to think in a more positive and relaxed way, our Meditation classes guide you step by step, with easy breath work and positive thoughts.
Helping you to live at your best - mind, body and soul
