What a Year It’s Been! 🎉

As the year comes to a close, it’s crazy to look back at everything that’s happened. From the exciting opening of the new build (a huge milestone for us all!) to the laughter-filled events such as red nose day where we came together for a great cause, it’s been a year of growth, fun, and connection.

We’ve had some epic moments celebrating life, like the unforgettable Mental Health Week, where we focused on taking care of ourselves and each other. 💙 Plus, the concert – wow, what a vibe! So much talent and energy in the air. 🎶🎤 And let’s not forget the countless parties and BBQs we had during the summer, soaking up the sun, making memories, and enjoying good food with even better company. 🍔🎉

As the year came to a close, we finished strong with all the festive activities that really made the season magical. ✨ Whether it was decking out the wards, sharing laughs, or spreading joy, it was the perfect way to wrap up a year we’ll never forget.

We are looking forwards to 2026, and excited for all the new adventures, challenges, and opportunities that are coming our way.

We were delighted to welcome Santa and his reindeers to Llanarth Court for a festive walkaround filled with smiles and Christmas cheer!

Santa made time to visit each ward, spreading joy, sharing kind words, and handing out sweet treats along the way 🍬❤️

It was a truly magical experience that brought laughter, excitement, and wonderful festive spirit throughout the grounds.

🎉 Week Two Festivities at the Hospital! 🎉
We’ve had another heart-warming and uplifting week filled with laughter, learning, and community spirit! 💙

✨ Our Carol Walk-Around brought holiday cheer to every ward, spreading smiles far and wide.
🧁 Educational Bakes mixed fun with knowledge as patients and staff enjoyed tasty treats with a learning twist.
🎵 Music Bingo had everyone humming, tapping, and having fun.
🌟 And to top it all off, our Talent Show showcased the incredible skills and creativity within our hospital community!

Week One of Christmas!!! 🎄

The first week of Christmas at Llanarth Court has been full of creativity, connection, and plenty of festive cheer! ✨

We kicked things off with some brilliant karaoke, where confidence (and Christmas spirit!) shone brighter than any stage lights.

Our Zoom bingo brought patients and staff together in the most joyful way - proof that community can thrive anywhere.

The Arts & Crafts Fayre showcased incredible talent and imagination, and our bake sale filled the place with delicious smells and even sweeter generosity. 🧁

We wrapped up the week with a refreshing group ramble to Big Pit, taking in the crisp winter air, rain and enjoying some peaceful time outdoors together. 🌧🚶‍♂️

Here’s to a beautiful start to the season - and many more uplifting moments to come.

Just a reminder to take care of yourself along the way.

Rest when you need to, set boundaries that protect your peace, and don’t feel guilty for slowing down. Not every moment has to be productive or perfect.

Your wellbeing matters every month, but especially during a busy one like this. Be kind to yourself. 💙
