Happy National Wildlife Day! 🐦
Today we celebrate the beauty and importance of the wild creatures who share our planet — and the incredible people who care for them.
Here at Llanarth Court Hospital, we’re proud to support the efforts of our wildlife group ran by 2 fabulous therapy assistants! These sessions focus on supporting local wildlife in an outdoor environment. The wildlife group has worked hard over the last 4 months making bird boxes, signs about the local wildlife and learning more information about the wildlife in the area.
As you can see from the posters below we have a range of different animals caught on the wildlife camera. The group has also made ornaments to go the Ebbw vale Owl sanctuary for them to sell and raise money. 🦉
Project Nest Box attended the hospital and ran a group that educated those interested about birds, owls and how nesting boxes help the animals.
National Wildlife Day reminds us that every life — no matter how small or wild — matters. Let’s continue to protect habitats, support local conservation groups, and celebrate the amazing animals that make our world so extraordinary. 🦊
