NEW CLASS: YIN AND YANG, 17TH SEPTEMBER, 7:30-8:30PM
Yin and Yang, the first in our series of one-off classes, is being held on the 17th of September at 7:30pm. This class is open to all levels.
An alternative name for this class might be: ‘flow and stretch’.
In this session we aim to build both strength and flexibility, and ultimately find balance. We begin with a slow, strength-building flow to warm the body and build heat. The second half moves into cooling, passive yin postures to release deep tension in both body and mind.
A strong body without flexibility becomes brittle. A flexible body without strength lacks stability. It is this balance that leads to longevity in our practice, a healthy body and a calm mind.
