YOGA CELEBRATION 18TH JANUARY
Hi everyone,
Wishing those I haven’t had the chance to see in person a belated happy new year. I hope you’re easing into 2025 with tenderness. We will be back with our weekly newsletter very soon. For now, I'm choosing not to succumb to the 'new year pressure', and instead continuing, where I can, to hibernate a little longer.
If you joined me in class this week, you'll know that we’re starting our series at a slower pace. After a few weeks off, our bodies may feel stiff. After all the time spent socialising, we might find ourselves feeling more emotionally tender. Instead of forcing our clay bodies into rigid routines and rules, can we instead weave with 'the thread of compassion'?
I believe wintertime is for nourishing the animal body with good food, life-giving movement and community.
With that being said, I'm dropping in to remind you of our yoga celebration taking place next Saturday.
There is space for everyone. Friends, family, new folks, and old folks. Those who've practiced for years, and those who've never tried yoga. Everyone is welcome.
The event is free of charge, and will consist of a 90 minute beginner friendly session followed by a bring and share brunch.
An opportunity to try all three styles of yoga, meet others from different classes, and start the new year rooted in community.
Details:
The session will take place from 9:30am-11:00am at Green Grove Barns and will be followed by a ‘bring and share brunch’ from 11:00am-12:00am
We will be joined by a photographer. She’s asked if we could please avoid wearing bright colours - if that’s a real problem, don’t worry too much, I’d much rather you were comfortable.
Please bring: your yoga mat and anything you’d like to eat (with a little extra to share). To let me know of any allergies, or to let others know what you’re bringing please fill in this google form.
Any questions, please let me know.
