Patricia Ann Newman

A true friend to many who entered into rest on the 5th April 2026 aged 84 years.

Dearly loved eternal partner of Mark Scarlioli. Cherished Mother / Stepmother to Michelle, Francesca and Angelina. Mother-in-law to Shaun, Carl and Michael. Granny Pat to the Grandchildren Casey and Sophia; Oscar and Isla and Vinnie. A friend or cousin to many persons in the UK, Canada, Australia, USA and Europe. Eternal custodian of her animals - Jason the parrot; Pepé and Wendy the dogs; Billy and Trigger the ponies; Sooty, Mitzie, Maxi, Gracie and Tibby Tabs the cats; Florence and Bella the sheep; and all of the other hundreds of animals, birds and creatures that Patricia has cared for. Patricia previously a musician, sportswoman and an intrepid Globetrotter and Explorer of the Continents with her friend Maureen in the 1960's and 1970's and an Oil Exploration negotiator with most of the World in the 1970's and 1980's.

A service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Patricia's life will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Taliaris, SA19 7DA on Saturday 16th May 2026 at 1pm.

Mansell will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our absolutely amazing Nigel, in his home village of Ffairfach on Saturday 4th April 2026

Nige of Heol Myrddin, Ffairfach.

Devoted and much-loved husband of the late Mandy, supportive and loving Dad of Richard, Jason and Lisa. Proud and loving grandad of Joshua, Tegan, Ffion, Lauren and his grandson-in-law Steff, Luke and his partner Hannah and adored by their precious dog Nellie. Deeply respected by his son-in-law Dai and his boys Ryan and Brook.

He has left a massive hole in our lives and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

The family wish to extend their sincere gratitude to the ambulance service, emergency responders and members of the local community who attended and did everything they could for Nige.

Funeral Monday 27th April 2026.
Public service at Llanelli Crematorium at 1pm.

For those who just wish to pay their respects, Nige's cortege will leave his home at 12.15pm.

Andrzej Jerzy Bolek

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 28th March 2026 at Glangwili Hospital.

Andrzej of Dolau Bran, Llandovery, began his working life in Poland as a science teacher and moved to Llandovery over 20 years ago where he has worked as a cook in Blaenos House and more recently Llanfair Grange.

Andrzej was much loved and will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Renata, loving daughters Anna and her partner Artur, Kate and her partner Jacob and was a proud grandad to Kinga.
He was a dear son-in-law of Halina, brother-in-law of Marek and family, brother of Halina and uncle and God father of Daniel and family.

A funeral will take place on Thursday 30th April 2026 at Llanelli Crematorium at 9am.

zmarł nagle i niespodziewanie w wieku 72 lat, w dniu 28 marca 2026 roku w szpitalu Glangwili w Carmarthen.

Mieszkaniec Dolau Bran w Llandovery. Swoją drogę zawodową rozpoczął w Polsce jako nauczyciel Chemii oraz Fizyki, w szkole podstawowej oraz gimnazjum w Bystrej obok Bielska-Białej. Ponad 20 lat temu przeprowadził się do Llandovery, gdzie pracował jako kucharz w Blaenos House, a przez ostatnie lata w Llanfair Grange.

Był ukochanym mężem Renaty, troskliwym ojcem Anny i jej partnera Artura oraz Kasi i jej partnera Kuby, a także dumnym dziadkiem Kingi.

Pozostawił w żałobie teściową Halinę, szwagra Marka wraz z rodziną, siostrę Halinę oraz chrześniaka Daniela z rodziną.

Uroczystości pogrzebowe odbędą się w czwartek, 30 kwietnia 2026 roku o godzinie 9:00 w krematorium w Llanelli.

Istnieje możliwość uczestnictwa w uroczystości poprzez transmisję online – link zostanie udostępniony na prośbę zainteresowanych.

Janis Phillips

Glyn wishes to announce the death of his beloved wife Janis, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 19th March 2026 after a long illness borne with great strength and with Glyn at her side.

Janis was much loved and will be deeply missed by Glyn, her sons Andrew and the late Ronnie, daughters-in-law Natalie and Elaine,
her grandchildren Abi, Lyla, Dean, Harry, Cerys and Kelly and her sister and brothers.
