Did you know…?

Lakeside Pharmacy offers a free Sore Throat Test & Treat Service on the NHS.

After an evaluation of symptoms by a pharmacist, we may test for Strep A.

If positive, we can then offer antibiotics from the pharmacy directly without the need to see a GP. If negative, antibiotics will not be effective and we can advise on pain relief.
