As we enter peak lambing season, it’s more important than ever to keep your dogs on a lead when out exploring the countryside🐕.

Did you know pregnant ewes are especially vulnerable and even just the stress of being chased or worried by a dog can cause them to miscarry or even lead to their deaths 😔

For a safe and happy outing with your dog, and to ensure we protect both our canines and sheep, be sure to keep your pets under control on a short lead. 🐑🐾🐑

Using a lead helps to protect other livestock and wildlife too, such as ground-nesting birds, that are also vulnerable to worrying by dogs.🪿

🚨 We will be hosting another of our learner listening events, on Monday 24th February from 19:45-21:00, to demonstrate our support of paramedic learners and our commitment to continue to improve the experiences of our learners in practice we have organised these listening events to enable paramedic learners to share experiences with us in a safe space.

👉 This free to attend session is exclusively for paramedic learners, please note that due to the nature of these events they will not be recorded.

Did you know that you DO NOT need training to use a ? That they are designed to be used by anyone, and it will give you step by step instructions?

Did you know that a defibrillator will only deliver a shock if the person needs it?

Did you also know you cannot cause any harm to the person?

Immediate and defibrillation can more than double the chances of surviving an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Sometimes an Access External Defibrillator (AED) (defib) may also be needed to try and return the heart to its normal working rhythm. Where is your nearest ?
