💙 Today is often called “Blue Monday”, said to be the ‘most difficult day of the year’, but as many mental health charities point out, there’s no single worst day for feeling low. What does matter is knowing you’re never alone, and it’s okay to reach out for support, connection, and care.
We walk alongside families through some of life’s hardest moments and we wanted to take the time to remind you that talking, even just having a brew and a chat, can make a real difference. There are people and organisations ready to listen and help.
🧡 If you need someone to talk to, support is available now:
📞 Samaritans – 24/7 listening support: 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org
📞 Shout – text 85258 for free 24/7 text support
📞 C.A.L.L. (Community Advice & Listening Line) – 0800 132 737 (Wales 24/7)
📞 NHS 111 (Mental Health option) – call 111 and press 2 for urgent support
🏡 Local support in and around Colwyn Bay:
• Conwy Mind – Mental health charity providing information, counselling and wellbeing support.
• North Wales Reflections – Counselling practitioners.
• Adferiad Recovery Limited – Peer support charity, and other local wellbeing services.
❤️ If you’re struggling, please reach out to a friend, a family member, a neighbour or a support service. You matter, and there is help. Whether it’s today or any day, talking helps.
(If it’s an emergency and you or someone else is at immediate risk, always call 999.)
