Hot weather changes the pace, not the fitness 🏃🏽♂️
Your threshold pace WILL be slower
Your Zone 2 pace WILL be slower
Your body is working harder to cool itself so your heart is working harder which shows
That doesn’t mean you’re less fit😄
In the heat, train to effort/heart rate rather than trying to force your usual numbers👊🏽
The physiological stimulus is what matters most🤯
