boost your immunity with essential oils🕯🍵
wonderful little drawing by thank you!
After spending 4 days in the wilderness last week, I've come back with a nasty cold and so thought I would share a blend that's helped to relieve symptoms of congestion ~ it's important to remember that blends like this are to be used with other methods and are nit a cure all. Speak to a doctor first and don't rule out traditional medicines!
Carrier oil: I use Jojoba carrier oil from
Essential oils: eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, tea tree, lemon. If you can't obtain all then i would focus on eucalyptus and tea tree. Make sure all of your oils are 100% essential oils. I personally use or for affordable options.
Bottle: you can purchase cheap packs of roll on bottles online or dropper bottles. For this recipe we will use a 10ml bottle where you can add your drops of essential oils and then top up with your carrier oil.
5 drops eucalyptus essential oil (about 25% of the blend) – to clear sinuses
4 drops lavender essential oil (20%) – to calm and soothe
3 drops tea tree essential oil (15%) – for antibacterial support
3 drops peppermint essential oil (15%) – to open airways
2 drops lemon essential oil (10%) – for its refreshing, immune-boosting properties
🧴 How to mix:
1. Add these oils into a 10ml roller or dropper bottle, and top up with a carrier oil (like jojoba or coconut) to safely dilute it for skin application. This dilution makes about a 3% concentration, which is gentle but effective for topical use.
2. If you prefer using it for inhalation, add the same ratios directly to a steam bowl or diffuser.
Remember: Always do a patch test to check for skin sensitivity, and avoid direct sunlight after applying citrus oils.
Let me know if you try this blend!
