LOWRI UPDATE
After last nights posts on the stories I was overwhelmed with all the messages and questions I had regarding exercise and recovery and feel humbled by everyone’s concern.
You all showed a huge interest in my recovery and I’m happy to share updates with you as often as I remember to post 😂
Here’s a little backstory on where I’m starting (not your typical c section recovery) but it’s also a reminder that you can’t compare yourselves to all the other postpartum women out there. Everyone’s recovery is individual and all our babies are different and allow different times for healing and resting which can slow down the process - there is no one size fits all for any form of recovery whether it’s post natal or injuries but I’ll do my best to share my tips along the way.
I am lucky to be able to compare the recovery from a natural (pretty traumatic) birth and now a c section with added cardiac complications. It’ll only make me better at my job 🙌🏼
Updates won’t be daily as improvements will be slow but I will try to share what I can (in between chasing a two year old and feeding a newborn)
STAY TUNED FOR THE SMALL WINS
