You might have already seen some posts about the National Neurodiversity Shows. We are so excited to be at the shows and Anita also has the opportunity to speak on stage too. We’ll be at all of the National Neurodiversity Shows this year, that’s Cardiff (22nd May), Liverpool (16th June), and the Midlands (23rd July)!

As our ADHD Coach and EMCC Senior Practitioner at Freedom from Tedium, Anita will be talking about her lived experience, practical strategies for thriving with ADHD, and how we can all better support neurodivergent individuals, in life and in the workplace.

These events are an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and elevate the conversation around neurodiversity. We’d love to see some of you there!

We’re deeply disappointed by the unfounded and harmful comments made by MP Stephen Kinnock.

Mr Kinnock's sweeping statements about private therapy don’t accurately address the challenges or reflect the skills, ethics, and good practice of our members working in private practice. These remarks show a lack of understanding of the sector and the training and expertise of our members, as well as the public protection safeguards in place.

Sometimes our brain tells us unimaginable things.

These things can range from being super scary to completely convoluted, and lots in between. Intrusive thoughts can be frightening and feel uncontrollable.

What thoughts have been popping up for you lately? How have they been making you feel?

Hope is a very personal, internal thing that no one can take away from you. No matter what happens in life, there is always hope.

Are you in tune with your hope or have you misplaced it?

Let’s Talk Therapy Wales is now closed for the Christmas period. Messages will be occasionally checked over the next couple of weeks, until normal working hours resume on Monday 6th January.

If you’d like to talk about starting individual therapy, or couples therapy, drop me a message and we can arrange a time to talk.

Christmas can be super lovely, but also super difficult. If anything is threatening to cost you your peace or comfort, you are allowed to say no.

Remember to be kind to yourself, seek comfort where you can, and ask yourself, ‘what do I need?’ if anything feels overwhelming or too much.

Take care of yourselves and see you in the New Year!
