This is a question I get asked a lot!
Yes — waxing during pregnancy is generally safe for most people, including Hollywood waxing, as long as the pregnancy is low-risk.

🔹A few things to keep in mind:
• Skin can be more sensitive due to hormones
• Waxing may feel more intense than usual
• Comfort and positioning are key, especially later on

🔹Every pregnancy is different, so I always recommend checking with your midwife or GP if you’re unsure or have any complications.

There’s absolutely no pressure …. waxing in pregnancy is a personal choice, and I’m always happy to chat through your options 🤍

💠Congratulations! ✨

A huge well done to my amazing student on successfully completing her VTCT Thai Body Massage course with me.

She has worked incredibly hard throughout her training, showing real dedication and passion every step of the way. Before starting with me, she had already achieved her VTCT Level 4 Sports Massage qualification, and since then she’s continued to grow her skills by training with me in Lymphatic Drainage Massage and now Thai Body Massage as well.

I’m so proud of her progress and commitment to professional development. Next on her journey, she’s considering Hot Stone Massage or perhaps a Body Waxing course…. exciting times ahead!

And just like that, we’ve come to the end of the week.

This week started with a snowy Monday. Of course, there were a few cancellations, but I was truly impressed and grateful for clients who still made the journey , especially a lovely mum and daughter who drove all the way from Newport for their treatments.

I first massaged her daughter when she was just 15, and now she’s at university … a proper young lady, no longer a girl. Moments like this really remind me how special this work is. Thank you both so much for coming out on such a snowy day 🤍

The rest of the week has been equally lovely, welcoming familiar faces and wishing everyone a Happy New Year as they came along.

💠 A little reminder …

I’m heading to Thailand next Friday, so there are still a few appointments available before I go … but not many left. Please book in now if you’d like a treatment before I’m away, or you can wait until I return on 29th January.
