We are inviting our local community to visit us and pay tribute to their father or father figure.

Sunday 15th June Our chapel will be open from 10am-12noon for a quiet moment of reflection.

💛Our remembrance gardens are open as usual throughout the weekend.

A lovely refurb at Llanelli Crematorium

New Voile curtain - The final refurb piece inside the chapel was completed this morning.

Did you know we offer a choice of curtain options to suit every family?

You can opt for the curtains to be fully closed, just the voile curtain to be closed or fully open, another of the uniquely personal service choices you can discuss with your funeral directors when making service arrangements ❤️

The situation is pretty awful at the moment, some families experiencing weeks of delays and unable to visit their loved ones before the funeral. I have experienced 5 and 6 week wait for funerals, totally unacceptable. I hope they sort this out soon, it's so distressing for families.

A week of sunshine and glorious memories of those who were dearly loved. Smiles and tears, families and friends coming together.
700 mourners at one, to just 5 at another, suicides, drifting off in their sleep or age catching up with them, they are all treasured, loved and will be dearly missed. Remember the smiles, talk of them often and cherish the moments you shared. Life is a blessing indeed, enjoy it as much as you can. Go and see where the path takes you. Xx

This has been a wonderful year. One in which I have met so many families, listened and then written about amazing lives. I've heard about real life hero's, true love, adventures, family bonds and sadly loneliness, depression, loss and pain. I have worked alongside many true professionals who show dedication to what is at times an unpleasant job. From funeral directors, to crematorium staff, clergy and support staff, you are all quite something.

It is an honour and a privilege to do what I do and receiving so many beautiful thank you's and kind words, the year leaves me feeling very contented.

So to you all, the bereaved, work colleagues, friends and associates, thank you and I wish you all a restful, peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.

The last 10 days has been full of shared memories and moments of loss and joy. My emotions are all over the place.

It was an honour to be asked to open the annual Christmas Memorial Service at Llanelli Crematorium
Yesterday. People came together to remember those they had lost, put a memory on the tree , listen to some amazing speakers and get in the Xmas spirit, all hosted by the crematorium fabulous staff. It was quite lovely to be a part of it again this year, it really kicked off the festive season.

Followed by a carol and memorial service run by Arthur Cambrey Funeral Directors at Greenfield's Church in llanelli for an evening of carols, chat and laughter where I shared a pew with the Very Rev. Martin, a man with the most hilarious sense of humour. So all in all a great day. Thank you to all this involved.
