SONGBIRDS VOCAL HARMONY GROUP

At Ty Bryngwyn Hospice on 26 April 2026 Trustees and Staff welcomed Linzi, Sarah and Sian, the wonderful ladies of the Songbirds Vocal Harmony Group, and received a cheque for £166.38.

This donation was raised by their loyal supporters from a bucket collection held at their 11 April 2026 very successful concert at the Ffwrnes theatre.

The amount raised played havoc with their need for a nice round number so they generously topped this up with an online donation of £33.62 to make the grand total of £200.00.

We are so grateful for their support and kindness and wish them every success in the future.

John and Peter Watts are fundraising for Ty Bryngwyn Hospice in memory of their father Don Watts. This is their story.

Last August, we lost our dad at the age of 71. The care and compassion he received at Ty Bryngwyn hospice meant everything to us during such a difficult time, and it’s something we’ll never forget.

To give something back, on father's day 2026, my brother and I are taking on a huge challenge: hiking Pen y Fan 10 times back-to-back. That’s over 40 miles and around 4,500 metres of elevation in a single climb.

It’s going to be tough, both physically and mentally, but it feels like the least we can do to support a place that gave our dad such dignity and comfort in his final days.

Ty Bryngwyn hospice is entirely charity funded, and every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference.

If you’re able to support us, we’d be incredibly grateful. Thank you.
