Corran Singers are glad to announce details of their Christmas concert on 18 December.

Please come along - mince pies, mulled wine, and a programme that promises something for everyone! Our guest soloist is the amazing Gwennan Wright.
This year, all proceeds go to Ty Bryngwyn Llanelli Hospice, a Designated Centre of Excellence providing specialist palliative care for the community of Carmarthenshire. It is the only Hospice in the area with inpatient facilities. Llanelli Hospice provides specialist palliative care both in the community and in its seven inpatient beds.

Ty Bryngwyn Hospice, founded in January 1986, is situated in the grounds of Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli and is a Centre of Excellence for palliative care services in Carmarthenshire. It provides in-patient palliative care and day treatment .
An incredibly valuable centre, so please support it by coming along on 18 December.

INNER WHEEL CLUB OF CARMARTHEN - COFFEE MORNING 1st NOVEMBER 2025

Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Fundraisers were invited to have a table at the coffee morning held on 1st November 2025 at St Peter's Hall Carmarthen.

The Mayor of Carmarthen officially opened the event and entertainment was provided by the Carmarthen Ukulele Players.

It was a very enjoyable morning and £133 was raised. Our grateful thanks go to President Brenda Scourfield and her members for the invitation, warm welcome and continuing and generous support.

Peacefully on Wednesday 1st October, Eira, beloved wife of the late Brian, loving mam of Michael and Andrew, dear mother-in-law of Fiona and Jane and a devoted Nana of Caitlin, Harri, Tom and Lili.
Funeral Friday 24th October 2025. Service at St. Peter's Church, Paddock Street, Llanelli 12 noon, followed by interment at Llanelli District Cemetery 1:00 p.m. No flowers please. Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Festival of Light Service Monday 24th November 2025 at 6:30pm in the St Elli Shopping Centre.

Every Monday, Thursday & Saturdays the fundraiser committee have a stall in the St Elli Centre between 10am-2pm selling packs of Christmas Cards for £4 (Christmas Puddings available w/c 20th October)

They are also taking donations for a light to be lit at the Festival of Light Service on Monday 24th November at 6:30pm.

GLANGWILI REUNION - IVY BUSH HOTEL, CARMARTHEN

On Saturday 4 October 2025 the regular Glangwili Reunion was held and a total of £166 was raised for Ty Bryngwyn Hospice.

Grateful thanks to Sandra Cranmer for organising this event, thanks also to Yvonne Davis who asked that the raffle be for the benefit of Ty Bryngwyn Hospice this year and to all the nurses who attended and gave so generously.
A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.

On Monday evening, “we all went down to Ty Bryngwyn to present them with a cheque, with the money everyone has helped us raise for this amazing place.
We'd like to thank everyone for their kind donations and support with your help we gave a cheque to Ty Bryngwyn Hospice for £2,431.12.

We as a family will be forever grateful to all the staff at Ty Bryngwyn Hospice for the care and support they gave to Coweeta right up till the end and to us as a family.
