From April 1st, NHS dental charges are changing — it’s no longer the simple band system. Instead, you’ll pay based on your treatment, with a maximum cap in place.

What does that mean?
👉 Some treatments may cost more
👉 But there’s a clear limit on what you’ll pay
👉 Many people still qualify for free care

Our ongoing works to modernise and improve the practice are into their 3rd week and it is all going to schedule.

We have encountered a problem with the electrics upstairs and although we have tried to resolve it late into this afternoon, it means we will be without power tomorrow.

This has meant we have had to cancel tomorrows surgeries as we will unable to provide any care.

The builders and electricians will be working around the clock tomorrow to resolve the issue and we will keep you updated.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will endeavour to rebook everyone back in ASAP

We are in phase 2 of our renovations to modernise the upstairs and back half of the practice. The start date has had to be moved earlier than planned to allow for vital works to be done.

As a result there will be some rearranging of appointments over the next 3 weeks. We apologise for the inconvenience and will work as hard as we can to get you back in as soon as possible.

We will be increasing from 4 surgeries to 5 so will have much more capacity for patients following these works finishing on September 1st.

Please bear with us for the next 3-4 weeks whilst this work is carried out upstairs. Apologies for the loud noises and smaller waiting room during this time.

We will also be rebranding and launching a new website so watch this space!

We will partake in as many fundraising events as possible - the first one being 'Step Up For Llanelli Mind' where we will complete a 19mile walk as a team, in the hope to raise as much as we can to support this amazing project.

This weeks marks our big computer and phone system upgrade so hopefully missed calls will be a thing of the past and accurate reminders will go out to everyone.

This means we will be closed Monday to Wednesday but will be available for emergencies. If you require emergency assistance please call us on 01554 774 509 as always.

While updating our phone system this weekend to increase capacity the system has failed and is down currently with engineers on their way.

Due to an issue with our new internet and telephone line being installed incorrectly 🤦🏽‍♂️, we are still without phones.

Our IT team are setting up a call divert at present but the surgery itself has no internet or access to our work email. This call divert should hopefully be going live anytime now.

We are extremely sorry this has happened and are working around the clock to try and get this sorted properly.
