🌴 Bringing the Beach to the Care Home! 🏖️
Sand between our toes, the warmth of the sun, the smell of salt water—and of course, plenty of ice cream! 🍦☀️

Today was a real sensory treat for our residents. From the sound of crashing waves to the (slightly too realistic!) cries of pesky seagulls, we recreated the full seaside experience—without leaving home. 🐚🌊🕶️

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. It was smiles all around! 💙

From fresh haircuts to relaxing hand treatments, our salon will offer a touch of luxury and self-care without even leaving home. It’s more than just a makeover — it’s about feeling good, boosting confidence, and creating joyful moments. ❤️

Special thanks to our dedicated team and hairdresser Sara Lewis who helped bring this vision to life!

Today marks the start of Care Home Open Week 2025, a special time to celebrate and showcase the incredible work that happens every day in care homes like ours! 🏡💙
We were delighted to welcome the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) who joined us to kick things off with delicious cake and thoughtful goodies – thank you for your support! 🍰🎁
We've got a fun-filled week of musical activities planned for our residents and visitors, including music therapy, play your cards right, music trivia, musical statutes and our favourite music films (interactive).

We were honored to welcome Police Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn (Dyfed Powys police) yesterday at Llwynhendy Care Home, supported by Cllr Sharen Davies (Llwynhendy/Pemberton Councillor).
The Commissioner took time to chat with our team, hear their stories, and discuss local community safety efforts. 💬💙

We truly appreciated the visit and the opportunity to showcase our home. It was a heartwarming reminder of how important connection and community support are across all generations. 🌟
