📅 Missed Appointments This Month

This month, a total of 126 appointments were missed without notice:
• 🩺 56 GP appointments
• 💉 55 Nurse appointments
• 🏃‍♂️ 15 Physiotherapy appointments

Each missed appointment represents valuable time that could have been offered to another patient in need.

⏰ If you can’t attend your appointment, please let us know as early as possible. Cancelling allows us to reallocate your slot to someone else and helps reduce waiting times for everyone.

On April 26, 2025, parkrun will be attempting a world record for the largest number of walkers at parkrun.
This UK-wide initiative aims to encourage more people to participate in parkrun through walking. The campaign, which started on March 22nd focuses on promoting walking at parkrun and reaching new participants.

Do you suffer with chronic pain? Would you like to learn more on how to self-manage your condition?

We currently have availability on our 'Chronic Pain Self- Management Programme'.

This is a 6 week, 2 1/2 hours a week self-management programme for anyone living with chronic pain.

Some of the areas we cover are:
• What is chronic pain?
• Physical activity and exercise
• Medication
• Fatigue management
• Moving easy
• Pacing and planning
• Working with your healthcare team

Llanelli residents - if you've been asked to have a blood test, please remember to book an appointment before attending Dafen Vaccination Centre.

How to book:

2. Phone: Call our Outpatients and Phlebotomy line on 0300 303 9642.

We also have a limited number of blood test appointments at Prince Philip Hospital for those who rely on public transport. Call 0300 303 9642 to book.

Don’t forget to bring your blood test request form from your GP or doctor. Our phlebotomists will not be able to take your blood without this!
