Unique Cave Bathing & Sauna Experience at Llanfair Slate Mines

Hosted in partnership with Tracey Yoga and ˈrōmiNG North Wales Sauna, this event combines ancient landscapes with modern wellness practices. Guests will begin deep underground in a natural slate cave, where Tracey will guide mindful breathwork in a space that remains a constant 9 degrees. Wrapped in sleeping bags and woolly hats, this grounding practice offers a complete reset for the mind and body.

From the stillness of the cave, the journey continues to the mountain-top, where ˈrōmiNG’s mobile wood-fired sauna awaits. With panoramic views from the summit of the slate mines, participants will experience the restorative power of heat therapy, proven to aid muscle recovery, reduce anxiety and stress, and awaken the senses. Enhanced with salt-scent bags, the sauna experience offers a truly sensory immersion.

The day concludes with a nourishing bowl of homemade soup and sourdough prepared by Kelly Davies of Caffi Llechan Lân, bringing a taste of local produce and hospitality. This final moment creates space for authentic connection and conversation in a relaxed setting.
