Welcome to Holistic birth
I can remember that in my early childhood I was very fascinated about the “miracle of women creating, caring and bearing new life” and to this day I am still stunned by this experience. Due to this I dedicate my life to support women through their pregnancy and, since I know from personal experience, to help them to experience their birth to the fullest and in the most positive way. I could not feel more pleased about anything than being part of a womans transformation into a mother and the growth of a family. In addition to my Doula work I am a certified Hypnobirthing practitioner and hold classes in group or one to one settings. Classes are suitable for couples and single mums in the same way and are delivered in 5 sessions each 2.5h. HypnoBirthing®, the Mongan Method, is a unique method of relaxed, natural childbirth education, enhanced by self-hypnosis techniques. It provides the missing link that allows women to use their natural instincts to have a safer, easier, more comfortable birthing experience.
As a trained and experienced Doula, I support all kind of births such as hospital births, , home births, planned caesareans, vbac, births in birthing centres, twin and water births. I happily supply my clients with birthing pools free of charge and organise antenatal classes. I offer support for all women within a radius of 1,5 hour from SA32 7UQ, however, with the exception of special cases for which I offer support beyond this distance. I would love to meet for a free interview. Joanna
