Gofal Seibiant out and about in the community in Llanberis, it’s cold out there but a warm welcome in “Melyn”. If anybody wants to arrange to meet up with us we will be arranging weekly drop in sessions. Are you a kind and patient individual looking for a rewarding role supporting someone with dementia? We are seeking a reliable and friendly companion to provide company and light support in a non-manual handling role.

Position Details
Role: Companion for a lady with dementia
Hours:
Saturday, Sunday, & Monday: 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Tuesday to Friday: 1:15 PM – 4:15 PM
Location: Llanedwen

Key Responsibilities
Offering kind and understanding companionship tailored to the needs of someone with dementia.
Assisting with enjoyable activities (e.g., conversations, hobbies, or outings).
Providing gentle reminders and emotional support.

Helping create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment.

Requirements
Genuine compassion and understanding of dementia care.

2 positions: 16 hours/week

-Bethel (School Friendly)
2 positions: 16 hours/week

-Llanberis (7am start)
2 positions: 16 hours/week

-All Areas
2 positions: 25 hours/week (7am start)
