📣IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE

Dear Patients,
We are upgrading our clinical system to EMIS Web to provide you with better service. This transition requires temporary computer downtime from Wednesday 18th February to Wednesday 25th February.

🛑 Appointments: During downtime, we will offer emergency appointments only with our GPs, Nurses, and HCAs.

🟢NEW SERVICE - First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP's)🟢

🟣FCP's can assess patients with soft tissue, muscle and joint pain and arrange the most appropriate management pathway, without the need to see a GP first 🟣

🟡Some examples of conditions FCP's can assess:
• Sprained ankles/ knees/joints following an injury
• Plantar fasciitis/ Police man’s heel
• Achilles tendonitis
• Pain and stiffness of fingers or thumbs
• Pins and needles in hands
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Tennis elbow symptoms/ elbow pain
• Back pain, with or without pins and needles, numbness or weakness into legs
• sciatica
• Neck pain, with or without pain, pins and needles, numbness or weakness into arms (Must exclude symptom of heart attack)
• Arthritic knees, hips, ankles, shoulders
• Shoulder pain
