It has been difficult to choose a defining moment to share from the first in-person Dance Your Ability Therapeutic Movement Foundation training at the The Study Society in London!

I have chosen our final celebratory dance as it encapsulated the utter joy, play, connection and empowerment that is the foundation of the Dance Your Ability method!

We had the pleasure of being joined by a small soul who was overjoyed to be part of our dancing circle!

It was an honour to be Dance Your Ability Teacher this year, supporting the inspirational Shauna Devlin during the 2 training programmes that trained 40 new Dance Your Ability facilitators!

The Dance Your Ability method is truly unique and offers inclusive free-style, conscious dance programs to people of all abilities & all ages.

Every Dance Your Ability Therapeutic Movement session is unique.

The sessions are special because each member of the group has an opportunity to dance their dance in a circle as only they can.

And in a circle we are all seen!

With bravery and joy we all create something, through movement, voice and on this occasion, instruments!

Thank you to Steffan Lewis, Ann James, Victoria Barber Thompson and allthe incredible staff for supporting these regular sessions at Plas Gwyn Nursing Home and the opportunity to work with the BEST dancers!
