A new month, and a gentle reminder to nourish your body and wellbeing as we move through winter.

February asks us to nourish rather than push. This is the time to support your body with warming meals — foods that comfort, restore, and help you feel energised from the inside out, even on the coldest days.

February also invites us to slow down, tune in, and nurture what truly matters — our energy, our health, and our inner world. Now is a time to choose habits that truly support you.

Did you know that what you eat doesn’t just affect your body… it deeply affects your mood too?

Long before modern science caught on, people knew this. In medieval times, foods like quince, dates, and elderflower were used to lift low moods, while lettuce and chicory were nature’s calming remedies.

Fast forward to today, and science now confirms what our ancestors instinctively understood that food can support (or sabotage) how we feel emotionally.

Anxiety, stress, low mood, and burnout are complex — there’s no one-size-fits-all fix.

A new month, a fresh invitation to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with what truly nourishes us — body, mind, and soul.

December carries a unique energy… a blend of reflection, gratitude, and gentle renewal. As the year begins to wind down, give yourself permission to soften, to breathe deeper, and to choose what supports YOU and your wellbeing.

This month, I’m focusing on:

This week we took a peaceful drive through the Chestnut Trail in the stunning Serranía de Ronda, and I’m still carrying the magic of it with me. As the season shifts, the whole landscape transforms—rolling hills wrapped in shades of copper and gold, ancient chestnut trees standing proudly, and that unmistakable autumn light that makes everything feel softer.

As a holistic health coach, I was reminded how nature nourishes us on every level—physically, emotionally, and energetically. And speaking of nourishment, this is the perfect time of year to enjoy chestnuts, or castañas as they’re known here in Spain. 🍂

Castañas are more than a seasonal treat—they’re a nutritional powerhouse. Rich in fibre, vitamin C, antioxidants, and slow-release carbohydrates, they support steady energy, healthy digestion, and immune balance as we transition into the cooler months. Their warm, grounding qualities make them an ideal food for this time of year.

Still reflecting on the magic of last week’s 4-day retreat in beautiful Andalucía and how everything came together so perfectly ✨🌿

In a 200-year-old farmhouse tucked into the heart of the Ronda mountains, with breathtaking views of the Sierra de Grazalema, we gathered to explore what it truly means to live a healthier, more aligned, and deeply nourished life.
From soulful conversations to nourishing meals, from mindful stillness to hearty laughter — every moment felt like a gentle reminder of how we’re truly meant to live.

Our mindful art sessions opened a creative doorway that blended seamlessly with spirituality, reminding us just how healing it is to simply create. 🎨✨

The yoga sessions were grounding, helping us move, breathe, and reconnect with our inner selves. And the Qi Gong sessions… pure magic — slow, intentional movement, breath, and energy work that left everyone feeling centred, calm, and recharged.

Our holistic health-coaching sessions were a powerful highlight. Together, we explored what it means to truly check in with ourselves — to listen to our inner being, recognise old patterns, understand what our bodies are asking for, and gently identify the changes needed to support a healthier, more balanced life. Witnessing those moments of clarity, empowerment, and honest self-reflection was incredibly inspiring.

To everyone who joined me: thank you for your trust, your openness, and the beautiful energy you brought into every moment. Watching you reconnect with your bodies, your creativity, and your spirit was the greatest gift.

Thank you for the mindful art and Qi Gong… You bring such inspiring freshness. . . to for allowing us to share the beautiful energy of home, the incredible yoga sessions, and the amazing food you shared with us.

✨ Olive Harvest Magic ✨

This weekend, whilst in Ronda, Spain, we had the beautiful opportunity to join friends, Elaine & Tim at for their annual olive harvest — and wow, what an unexpectedly nourishing experience. 🤍🌿

There’s something so grounding about getting your hands on the branches, feeling the sun, sharing laughter, and working together toward something so simple yet sacred. Community really is medicine.

And of course… olives themselves are little wellness powerhouses:

🫒 Healthy monounsaturated fats for heart + brain function
🫒 Natural anti-inflammatory compounds
