This week, our team at 'Eye to Eye Counselling Service' had the privilege of delivering Exam Stress Workshops to Year 10 and 11 pupils at 'Ysgol Afon Wen' and 'Tonyrefail Community School'
supporting young people in the lead-up to their exams is so important, and we’re proud to help equip them with practical tools to manage stress and build their self-esteem and confidence.

Here’s what some of the pupils had to say:

“They showed us good techniques to reduce exam stress.”

“Other young people should definitely do it.”

We also received this wonderful feedback from staff:

"Thank you both so much for supporting our young people. You really came across well, kept them engaged, and provided valuable information throughout the session. We will follow up on your guidance to continue supporting them. Thank you again for your time and commitment." - Katie Wood, Tonyrefail Community - School Attendance Difficulties

If your school would like to support pupils with managing exam stress and wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.

💜 Mother's Day is coming, and for some children, it's one of the hardest days of the year.

For a child who has lost their mam, this Sunday isn't filled with joy. It brings grief, longing, and the painful reminder of someone deeply loved and deeply missed.

Our Primary Bereavement Project exists for exactly these children - giving them a safe space to talk, to remember, and to know they are not alone in their grief.

We've created a special Mother's Day support leaflet with gentle, meaningful ideas to help bereaved children honour their m**s this weekend.

Because small acts of remembrance can make a world of difference. 🌸(these can be obtained from your schools or directly from us by emailing info@eyetoeye.wales)

A shout-out for your support 📢 We are looking for local businesses and our community to help us continue providing therapy resources, memory boxes, and vital support programmes for children navigating their loss.
If your business would like to help, please reach out to us at info@eyetoeye.wales or send us a DM. 💌

Because every child deserves to feel supported, understood, and free to remember the people they love. 💜

Our FACT (Family and Child) Team spent yesterday at the Interlink RCT 'Connecting Communities' event, sharing information about our Primary Bereavement Project which is already off to a flying start.

Our mission is to ensure that no child should have to grieve the loss of a parent or primary caregiver alone, and Eye to Eye Counselling Services is here to support the child and their immediate family.
