Last client of the week went like this:

- 35 mins of blissful foot & lower leg massage. And relax!

- 20 mins of thorough de-cobwebbing

- 5 mins of me singing the Welsh National Anthem upon leaving ahead of St David's Day tomorrow!

A busy Wednesday!

A last minute call from one of my lovely regulars to see if I could take her to the dentist for an emergency appointment this morning. Mission accomplished! (despite an unexpected road diversion and her section of the road being closed. Picture me dashing around with her in the wheelchair up to where my car was parked so we wouldn't be late!) If anyone remembers 'Challenge Anneka' that's how I felt 😂

Then straight on to my regular 12pm marvellous lady who has a weekly 2hr session - preparing her lunch, hoovering her house, cleaning her floors & tackling her blinds and most importantly of all, providing quality companionship, having a laugh, putting the world to rights, sharing our latest telly highlights & going down memory lane hearing stories about her youth!

I'm ready to put my feet up before I walk my dogs 🥰

As a qualified & experienced Holistic Massage Therapist of 20 years, I love bringing my expertise to my Home Help clients and sharing the benefits of regular localised massage.

Today I've massaged one elderly client's hands & forearms and another elderly client's neck & shoulders using a lovely warming 'muscle & joint massage oil blend' within my hour's visit. This wonderful blend contains targeted essential oils to help relieve rheumatism, arthritis, muscular aches, pains & stiffness. The eucalyptus is a good anti-inflammatory for arthritis.

I've made up a roller ball with the blend adding in some drops of the 'Revival' blend (the Lemon & Ginger essential oils are an excellent tonic for the circulatory system) to give to her for personal use so she can roller on to the affected areas on her neck.

Back to one of my regulars for 6 days whilst his close family are away on hols. I call in daily for 1.5 hour to 2 hour visit.

We've compared our Christmases, gone food shopping together locally, watched some quiz shows & parts of some classic films together (Mary Poppins & A Bridge too Far) & researched the stellar casts! I've prepped some yummy food, we've laughed over cuppas, gone down memory lane & I've cut his fingernails today.

And made sure the heating is at the right temperature to keep him cosy 🔥

Companionship is so vital & it's always a pleasure to spend time with him & provide support 🥰

Since launching 'officially' in October, I'm blessed to be helping & supporting some lovely regular clients in Llantwit & St Athan.

Some are weekly & a few are ad hoc. It's been wonderful building relationships with each client. I'm assisting them in different ways:

- cooking lunch
- cleaning projects
- companionship, lively conversation & laughs over a cuppa
- decluttering
- helping with house move
- tip runs
- localised massage to relieve tight neck & shoulders
- daily wellbeing & companionship check-ins for 7-14 days whilst close family on holiday abroad
- enjoying a TV quiz together to fire up the brain

I have also enjoyed building friendships with my client's family (some four legged) which is always a joy 🥰

Happiness is ...watching Pointless together & getting some great low scores!😀🥰
