Siwmae pawb / Hi everyone!

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time to wrap up my sports massage business and move on to a new chapter. I’ll be finishing on Christmas Eve, so just a few more weeks left before I head off to Canada for a bit of an adventure and a change of pace. I’m not exactly sure what life will look like after that, but I’m excited to find out.

A big thank you to everyone who’s supported me. Whether you booked in, recommended me, or just kept up with what I was doing. I’ve met loads of great people through this, and I really appreciate everyone who’s helped me build it from scratch.

Here’s my final availability before I close this chapter:

Week 1:
• Thursday 4th (12–9pm)
• Friday 5th (6–9pm)

Week 2:
• Thursday 11th (12–9pm)
• Friday 12th (6–9pm)

Week 3:
• Thursday 18th (12–9pm)
• Friday 19th (6–9pm)

Week 4 (final week):
• Wednesday 24th (Christmas Eve) - 12–9pm

📚 Case Study: Shoulder Recovery Post-Rugby 🏉

After a tough game, a client came in struggling with shoulder tightness and restricted movement, especially around the posterior deltoid and upper traps. The intensity of rugby meant his muscles were overloaded, leading to tension and reduced range of motion.

Our session focused on flush techniques to improve circulation and reduce soreness, with some deep tissue work to release stubborn knots and tension points. We also incorporated passive stretching to restore mobility and prevent further restriction.

Post-match recovery is just as important as the game itself—keeping the body primed and ready for the next challenge! 💪🔥

📚 Case Study: Full-Body Massage for an avid Gym-Goer with a Meniscus Injury

This client, a dedicated gym-goer, came in for a full-body massage to help with general muscle tension after his intense workouts. He had recently injured his meniscus and a physio had advised excessive movement and working directly on the knee.

✨ What We Did:
I focused on his upper body—shoulders, back, and arms—using deep tissue massage to ease tightness and improve recovery. For his lower body, I worked on his hamstrings, quads, and calves, being careful to avoid the knee. Myofascial release and gentle stretching helped release deep muscle tension without aggravating the injury.

By the end of the session, he felt looser, more relaxed, and ready to get back to the gym without further strain on his knee. 🏋️‍♂️

📚 Case Study: Worsening Shoulder Strain

My client here, came to me with persistent shoulder pain that had been getting worse since he first strained it two weeks ago while working. Initially, the discomfort was mild, but over time, it developed into stiffness, aching, and sharp pain with certain movements, particularly around the rear delt.

Given the physical demands of his job, I also focused on his erectors and mid-to-lower back, as tension in these areas was likely contributing to his discomfort. By working on the posterior shoulder, upper back, and surrounding muscle groups, I aimed to relieve strain and restore mobility.

To help ease the pain, I used slow, controlled deep tissue techniques to target tension in the rear delt and surrounding muscles. Specific pressure work helped break down stubborn knots, while gradual stretching techniques encouraged better movement and reduced tightness.

By the end of the session, he felt less tension, greater mobility, and a noticeable drop in pain levels. Injuries from manual work can linger without proper treatment—addressing them early makes all the difference! 💪🏼
