Mothers Matter

This years toy appeal exceeded any of our expectations, the generosity and kindness of our community was just unbelievable. It has been a hugely stressful time for Mothers Matter making sure ll the toy appeal went out. It was also hugely emotional this year. The amount of poverty we have witnessed this year is just awful and it shouldn't be happening.

Our huge thanks to the staff at the royal glamorgan theatres department, urology, endoscopy and the anaesthetic department all contributed to sending christmas cheer 2025 and donated over 200 toys to us this year.❤️

Here is a quick message from the lady who organised it:
I am absolutely blown away myself by the generosity of everyone who has helped this be such a success and deliver christmas cheer ensuring everyone has a gift and is thought of 🥰 ranging from newborn up to the elderly including vulnerable adults the reach has been far this year and i love watching it grow ❤️

With Christmas and the New Year fast approaching you’ll begin to see people reflecting on their year of achievements, special moments and fond memories but know that if this isn’t you, if this year came with struggles, hard times or grief, if this year was more about survival then that’s okay too.

Christmas isn’t always the most wonderful time of the year. Be kind, you don’t always know what people may be going through.

Remember that through it all you are not alone, Mothers Matter are here to support you in every way that we can ✨ and no matter how hard things might be there is hope ❤️
