✨🚍🚌Driven To Have Fun 🚌🚍✨

We have been out and about, with a mini tour of Fife 🚍

It was a thrill to support our local team Lochore Welfare Football win 2-1 against Thornton FC on Saturday. We were all on the edge of our seats to the very end ⚽️

Pat reminisced on the bus as she used to be a bus conductor and still has the skills🚌She’s in her element as we watched the scenery and animals pass by and of course we had a hot chocolate since are now in autumn ☕️

Dariusz had a change of scenery as we had a Picnic at Lochore meadows with a walk around seeing the ducks and everything that was going on around us and he was the perfect gentleman as always 🧺🦆

🎤 What a wonderful afternoon at our Residents’ Karaoke! 🎤

The room was full of laughter, music, and some truly unforgettable performances. From classic sing-alongs to heartfelt solos, our residents lit up the stage and proved that music really does bring people together. 💕🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined in, clapped along, and cheered each other on—it was an afternoon to remember! 🥳👏

⚓️⛴️Boat Load Of Fun⛴️⚓️

Wednesday
We ventured into Edinburgh to see the Royal Yacht Britannia, we spent the day feeling like royalty walking through the history of the boat👑
From exploring the elegant royal decks to enjoying the view, there were smiles, laughter, and plenty of stories shared. It was a wonderful chance to step back in time and experience a bit of royal history together🛥️

Thursday
We had a fantastic time on our recent trip to Discovery Point in Dundee🌟Our residents enjoyed exploring the fascinating history of the RRS Discovery, soaking in the stunning views of the waterfront, and sharing stories sparked by the exhibits 🛶 Our Tommy was even driving the boat🫣
We had our picnic with the best view of the Tay Bridge 🍰

A huge thank you to staff from both locations, everyone went above and beyond for our residents which we always appreciate 🙏

🌅🥃🦅 Chasing That Tequila Sunrise🦅🥃🌅

Colin & I had an absolute blast jamming out our 69th song together 🤩. Since it’s International Country Music Day, we thought it was only right to pull out a classic, Tequila Sunrise from The Eagles. 🦅✨

Country vibes, great music, and even better company. Here’s to many more songs and sunrises ahead! 🎸🔥 Yeehaw! 🤠

🌤️ Weekend Adventures with Robert Allan & Benore Care Home 🌤️

We made the most of the dry weather and enjoyed a fun-filled weekend together!

Saturday
🚤 South Queensferry for a lovely lunch at Outboard – staff were absolutely amazing. Huge shoutout to Gillian for being so welcoming and going above and beyond for us 💙
🌊 After lunch, we headed to Aberdour Beach for a beautiful walk and stunning scenery.

Sunday
🏴 Bowhill Highland Games in Cardenden – such a great atmosphere with lovely stalls. A big thank you to the ladies at the tea tent for sharing their space with us 🙏
🌅 Later, we took a run to Burntisland. With the tide out, it was so peaceful and perfect for soaking up those gorgeous views.

What an amazing weekend of linking up, making memories, and spending time with friends 🥰

From vibrant Pookalam (flower rangoli) designs to traditional decor and handmade touches, it’s heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate the joy, unity, and culture of this beautiful festival.

Tam and Nadina took a trip to Dobbies Garden Centre 🌿✨ They browsed flowers and plants, then rounded things off with a cosy coffee in the restaurant ☕🌼

🌟 Car Boot Sale Success! 🌟

What an amazing day! Our car boot sale was a massive success – residents loved hunting for bargains and it was wonderful to see the whole community come together. 💙

We’re thrilled to share that a fantastic £455.30 has been raised so far for our Residents’ Comfort Fund. This will go directly towards making our residents’ Christmas celebrations extra special this year. 🎄✨

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought, sold, and supported – we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌
