✨ Lovely Outing to Leven Swimming Pool ✨

Yesterday our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Leven Swimming Pool. We had a blissful swim together with lots of smiles, splashes, and relaxing moments in the warm water. 🏊‍♀️💦

Afterwards, we headed up to the spectators gallery where we tucked into our packed lunches while watching others enjoying their time in the pool. It was the perfect way to unwind and spend the afternoon. 🥪😊

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. Here’s to more happy outings together.💙✨

🎸💿✨️ Wish Granted! ✨️💿🎸

We’ve helped Colin achieve his dream of having his very own Greatest Hits CD 💿! Colin doesn’t get much free time because of his OCD, but when he does, he spends it doing what he loves most: making music 🎶❤️. And now, that dream has finally come true!

The CD features 35 of the best songs from the 73 we’ve recorded together, a project that’s been a long time in the making. Colin has even named our duo US 2, a clever nod to U2! 😎🎶

When Colin and his family saw the CD, he was over the moon and asked, “Does this make us official rockstars now?” 🤣 His wee sis who’s also his best pal Suzie, our biggest fan, was just as thrilled. 💖

Colin and I have been jamming for 3 amazing years, and this CD is a celebration of every song and every memory. We are absolutely buzzing about where our musical journey will take us next. 🚀🎵

Huge thanks to Keiran for creating the CD 💻💿 and to Emma for bringing Colin’s album cover vision to life 🎨✨.

Colin also wants to sell copies for £5 each to raise money for our residents’ comfort fund, and they’d make a perfect Christmas gift. 🎄🎁

Well done Colin 🌟👏 We are all so proud of you.

Our wonderful resident Fiona enjoyed a wee outing to Kirkcaldy Prom today a favourite spot she used to visit with her husband Brian and their dog Angus. 🐾💛

It was a bit blustery and a tad chilly, but the seaside breeze did its job and nicely blew the cobwebs away! 🌬️😄 And of course, no seaside visit is complete without a warm cup of tea by the sea the perfect cosy finish. ☕🌊

✨🚶‍♂️🎄Saturday Antics 🎄🚶‍♂️✨

We have had a busy day with our friends from Benore 👯‍♀️

This morning we went to support our local community at the Lochgelly Christmas Fayre and what a turnout! Our residents loved seeing all the handmade stalls we couldn’t leave without buying some confectionery for ourselves, friends and family. Some other highlights were beautifully scented soap, bracelets, a free book stall, and so much more 🎅

Then in the afternoon we took full advantage of the weather being on our side and visited Lochore Meadows as you just can’t beat the beauty that is by our front door. We all agreed that the fresh air is what we needed while taking in the actities all around us ⛵️

We just love days like this especially with good company 🫶

✨🚌Here, There, Everywhere🚌✨

What a busy week it has been! We have been out and about in our mini bus going to lots of new and old places 🏞️

Tam had a magical time in South Queensferry and visited the Little Bakery for a strawberry milkshake while taking in the beautiful view. We had a chance to pick up our ceramics as well and they turned out amazing 🌉

The Kinglassie Tea Dance is always a hit with a boogie and a pint you just can’t beat the classic music that got us on our feet in between laughs 🕺

We heard the buzz about Crieff visitor centre so we had to look for ourselves and wow what a sight there is, the drive itself even on a miserable day was beautiful and wondering around the centre was very interesting especially the glass blowing shop🔍🎄

It’s been a week to remember and we can’t wait to keep the memories coming 🫶

New curtains, fresh pictures, and a few homely touches have really brightened the space. It’s amazing how a few changes can make such a big difference cozy, calm, and full of personality! 💕

Today marked the very first gathering of our brand new Robert Allan Choir here at Robert Allan House.

Residents came together with smiles, songs, and plenty of laughter as we filled the home with beautiful melodies and shared memories. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone’s enthusiasm and joy through music. 🎵

We can’t wait to welcome new faces in the coming weeks. Whether you love to sing or simply enjoy listening, there’s a place for everyone in our choir! 💫

Our lovely resident Irene has a passion for card making and today she lead our Christmas card making club 📝

Irene had everyone working harder than elves in santas workshop creating Christmas masterpieces for our fast approaching Christmas Market🎄

Irene has her annual tradition of her own stall at our market so you can come along and get a one of kind card to give to your loved ones this festive time with each and every card was made with the care and love of Irene and her helpers 🫶

We hope to see you on the 29th of November but her is a sneak peek of the amazing cards to expect 👀
