☀️🎣 😃 Balmule Valley Fishery 😃 🎣 ☀️

Today our residents were out enjoying the sunshine at the fishing, no fish were caught… but plenty of laughs were! 😄

We spent the day soaking up the peace and quiet, casting lines, and enjoying some great company in a beautiful spot. Sometimes it’s not about the catch – it’s about the memories made.

🌊 🏖️ 🍦 Beach Day Vibes!🍦 🏖️ 🌊

Some of our residents have spent the last 2 days soaking up the sun at the beach, sand between our toes, salty breeze in our faces and a paddle in the refreshing sea.

There were lots of laughs and smiles and a few screams when our toes went in the cold water.😃

We topped it off with some amazing ice cream (because no beach day is complete without it), then headed to the amusements for some classic fun games.🪙

💰💸Million Dollar Question 💸💰

We played our version of the famous tv show ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ but the questions were all about Robert Allan House 💵

It was a great laugh with the residents reading all the questions about the home and staff, 🧐testing our knowledge of it with some answers being more surprising than others 🤭

Chris Tarrrant wasn’t free to host so our Wellbeing coordinator Izzy stepped in as the look like host 🎤

James was our Millionaire 🏆 his prize was just short of that being bragging rights and Haribo tangfastics which are more delicious anyway and James kindly shared with everyone 🫶

💥🥁 Drum Roll Please… 🥁💥

We’re over the moon to announce that our T in the Carpark 5 / Rodeo fundraiser raised an outstanding £2,191.50! 💷🌟

This fantastic amount will be split evenly between both homes’ Residents Comfort Funds, going directly towards activity resources and future events that bring lots of joy to our lovely residents. 🎤💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make the day such a huge success, we truly couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌💕

✨🎉🎶T In The Carpark 5 🎶🎉✨

Today, we held our annual T in the carpark festival for the 5th year running but this year we had the best twist making it rodeo themed 🐄🤠

What a day we had! The sun came out to party and put a spotlight on all our amazing acts 🎶 The talented young Lewis Duffy started the day off with his bagpipes 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 To follow that the wonderful Kelly Kirkham was up next to get everyone dancing 💃It was a tough act to follow but we were once again wowed by Jimmy Jack 🕺Last but certainly not least was the outstanding headliner Roberta Childs! Who was nothing short of perfection 🪩🎶

As if the music wasn’t enough we had lots of amazing stalls ✨Our lovely residents Irene and Catherine showed off their talents 🎨 Our raffle and tombola were a hit as always 🎟️ The kids were certainly not bored with our bouncy castle, temporary tattoos and mystery kids bags 🏰The bbq and bake sale kept us all happy 😊 It is not a event without Marks water or wine stall 🍷

We want to put out a special mention to Sharon Findlay for showing up 🙏 You will always be apart of our Benore family 🤲

We can’t thank everyone enough 👏 From the community and families showing up to support us to all our wonderful residents, volunteers and staff🎤 We can’t run these events without every single person who played their part in today’s event 🫶

Thank you to everyone for supporting our home, helping makes these events possible and we can’t wait to see you at the next one 😉
