JOHNSTONE

On behalf of his family, we respectfully announce the passing of a well known Cowdenbeath man George Johnstone, known to many as Dod or Deano, who passed away peacefully at Barrogil Care Home on Tuesday 13th January, aged 78 years.
Dod was a dear brother of Liz, brother in law of Jim, Uncle of Billy and good friend to all who knew him.
Funeral service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 6th Feb at 11.45am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations can be made, if so desired, in aid of Barrogil Care Home Residents fund. The service will be taken by celebrant Graham Primrose. LATIMER

It is with great sadness, we respectfully announce the passing of a well known and much loved Kelty woman, Elvira Latimer, who passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family, at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, on Sunday 21st December 2025, aged 81 years.
Elvira was a much loved wife of the late Raymond, a loving mum of Stephen, Aileen and the late Nevil, also a dearly loved gran, great gran, sister, sister in law, mother in law, aunty and good friend and neighbour to all who knew her.
Elviras funeral service will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium on Tuesday 20th Jan at 11.30 am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations can be made, if so desired, in aid of Cancer Research. The service will be taken by celebrant Evelyn Robertson.

On behalf of his loving family, we respectfully announce the passing of a well known and much loved Dunfermline man, Matthew Easson, known affectionately as Matt, who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 10th December, aged 87 years.
Matt was a beloved husband of the late Helen, also a dearly loved dad , dey, uncle, father in law and a good friend and neighbour to all who knew him.
Matts funeral service will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium on Tuesday 30th Dec at 11.30am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. The Late Jim McCann.

The family of the late Jim would like to thank all friends .neighbours and colleagues for all the kind expressions of sympathy received on the sad loss of Jim. Thanks to Harold Webster of Benarty Funeral Directors for all funeral arrangements, to celebrant Graham Primrose for a lovely service, to Margaret for the gorgeous flowers and to Jane and staff at Lochore Institute for a lovely buffet. George was a beloved husband of the late Marion. loving dad of George and the late Robert, Uncle of Douglas, also a dear Grandad and good friend to all who knew him.

McKENNA

It is with great sadness we respectfully announce the passing of a very well known and greatly loved Lochgelly woman Janet McKenna, known affectionately as Nettie, who passed away peacefully on Sunday 2nd November at Camilla House Nursing Home, in the presence of her loving family, aged 91 years.
Nettie was a beloved wife of the late Henry, a much loved mum of Agnes and the late Jeanette, a cherished gran of Johanna, Samantha, Michaela, Mark, Rebecca and Bethany, also a dearly loved Great Gran, Friend and Neighbour to all who knew her.

The Late Danny Little.
Just a little a reminder that a memorial service for Danny will take place in Lochore Institute on Friday 19th Sept at 1pm. As Danny requested a private funeral this is an opportunity for everyone who knew Danny to come together and pay their respects and share some great stories and memories of Danny. The service will be led by celebrant Graham Primrose and following the service there will be refreshments available and an opportunity to raise a glass to a local legend. RIP Danny
