Acknowledgement of thanks, from the family of the late Scott Crichton.

Graham and Liz Peebles would like to thank John Gilfillan Funeral Directors, for the excellent service we received after the recent passing of our brother, Scott Crichton.

Special thanks to the staff of Ward 34 Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Mary, Carol and Helen from Bowhill Bowling Club for the catering. Thank you to all friends and family for the flowers, cards and wonderful messages we received at this very sad time.

Funeral details concerning the late Alan Anderson:

ANDERSON

Suddenly, after a short illness, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday 13th November 2025, Alan Anderson aged 56 years of Crossford, formerly Cowdenbeath.

Beloved son of Joan and the late Benny, loving brother to Karen and Brian, brother-in-law to Bill and Denise, cherished uncle to Laura, Gordon, Abbi and Fiona, much loved nephew and cousin, a special friend to Gordon, Scott and Ian, godfather to Matthew, dear neighbour of Margaret and a very good friend to many others.

Alan was also a well-known and respected golfer in Fife and beyond, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium, on Monday 8th of December at 11:30am, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited; family flowers only please, however, on leaving the crematorium, donations if so desired, can be made in aid of Maggie’s Centre.

Alans family have requested, that those who wish to do so, wear a touch of colour on the day.

WILSON:

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, on Monday 17th November 2025, in the presence of his loving family by his side, John ‘Jock’ Wilson, aged 86 years of Kelty.

Beloved husband of Jean, loving dad to Karen, Wendy, John, Tony and Sandy, dear father in law, doting di, great di and good friend to many others.

Funeral service will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium, on Tuesday 2nd December at 10.45am, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited; family flowers only please.

The late Ann Bauld:

BAULD

Peacefully, on Wednesday 12th November 2025, at Perth Royal Infirmary, surrounded by her loving family, Ann Bauld (nee Sharp) aged 66 years, of Kinross, formerly of Ballingry.

Beloved wife of Willie, and much loved by Sharron and Debbie, a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and very good friend to many; Ann will be fondly remembered as a loyal and dedicated employee with Todd & Duncan, Kinross Wool Mill for many years, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium on Thursday 4th December at 1.15pm, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited; family flowers only please, however, donations if so desired will be gratefully received on leaving the crematorium in aid of Ward 5, Perth Royal Infirmary.

Sadly, on Sunday 9th November 2025, Dale Foley, aged 36 years of Lochore.

Loving son of Andrew and the late Pauline, stepson to Donna, dear partner of Kimberly, cherished and doting dad to Lana, Lacey, Aliyah and stepdad to Bonnie, loving brother to Kerry, brother-in-law to Mark, much loved nephew, uncle, cousin and a very good friend to many others.

Funeral service will take place at Ballingry Cemetery, on Wednesday 3rd December at 11am, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

The family has requested, that in Dale’s memory, those attending to wear a touch of green, if so desired.

The family of the late Barry would like express their heartfelt thanks to all family and friends who gathered to celebrate the life of Barry . The turnout on the day showed how much he was loved , the family really appreciated all the lovely stories and felt so comforted to hear just how much Barry touched the lives of so many with his kind and funny personality .

Thanks for all the cards , messages and flowers received , the overwhelming support given will stay with us forever .

To all the amazing staff at John Gilfillan Funeral Directors thank you for your compassion and kindness, so genuine and caring . A special thanks for Angela for our little surprise by the outstanding Piper Dean.

The staff at the Ship Inn couldn’t do enough for us on the day and the catering by Jane was amazing - Thankyou so much.

Finally a thank you to Father Simon for a beautiful Mass , which brought comfort to us at such a sad time.

The family of the late Sadie Whyte would like to express heartfelt
thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind
expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers received following the
recent sad loss of Sadie.

Sincere thanks go to Angela and all at John Gilfillan Funeral
Directors for their professional guidance and support throughout.
Grateful thanks also to Jayne Johnson for delivering a very personal
and special eulogy, which was very much appreciated. Thanks also

Special thanks to the staff of Lochgelly Golf Club for the lovely
buffet and for their excellent hospitality.

The family would like to thank the staff of Ward 5 in Ninewells
Hospital for the care and attention they showed to Sadie in her final days.

Finally, a special thanks goes to everyone who came to Dunfermline
Crematorium to pay their final respects to Sadie and for the
generous donations of £220 to the PDSA. This was a great comfort to the
family.
