Beautiful evening shared in Sacred Sisterhood, weaving Scottish folklore, rhyme, ritual, story telling and Sacred Sound.

🕸Journeying the timeline of our lives, held and supported by our Ancestors shedding all that no longer serves by keeping us bound to limiting ways, fear and suffering... Allowing us to step deeper into the Power of the Ancestor we too are becoming and all that we came here to be.

🕸Honouring all who lived so we could live

🕸Honoring the many Medicine Women persecuted, and murdered during the times of the horrific Witch trials, beyond and through to present day.

🕸Honouring the return of the Cailleach as we begin the descent deeper into the darkness.

🕸Releasing all that binds us to suffering and calling on the Protection and Support needed through, Sacred Sound Medicine, Fire ritual and offerings gifted.

Together we shared, journeyed , released and feasted held in a Sacred Sisterhood cocoon of Love, Compassion and kindness - safe to gather and connect to the STRONG WILD and POWERFUL Women we each are....how utterly blessed🔻

The stories we tell ourselves
Become the beliefs our daughters carry
In their hearts and minds
About their bodies, their worthiness
And their voice

To heal ourselves is to follow
The deepest calling of our soul
This is why we've come to be
Here and now

When we say yes to this calling
We are liberating lineages
Replacing pain with power
And fear with love

So when our little girls become strong women
They aren't burdened with the old stories
We brought with us
From the past

Old voices that said
"Love hurts, it's hard to find...
He didn't want you, he didn't want us
You're broken
Or dirty
Or ashamed..."
No, those stories are not ours to carry.
We will not pass those whispers on... And so we do the hard work
We face our demons and find our light

So our daughters may carry new stories
Of strength, of courage and trust
And impart this wisdom of healing
On the generations that follow

So the women that pass
Through our daughters bodies, and their daughters bodies
Arrive stronger
As fierce feminine leaders
Healers
Medicine Women
Teachers
And Gentle Mothers
With deep wells of maternal love to draw from
And the capacity to receive

When the darkness reaches out to you
And holds out its hand
Remember this wild woman, you are not alone
We walk this path together

This is the gift we give to our daughters
When we embark on the healing path
It's a hard job
But no one else can do this for us.

Beautiful evening of Kundalini Yoga & Sacred Sound at Kettle-Home in collaberation with

Such a joy to be back playing in this beautiful hall and the bowls sang their wee hearts out , such a beautiful evening all round. 💫

When we arrived in Scotland 3 years ago we attended a wee Christmas market at the hall and as soon as I entered I had a STRONG SENSE that i would play Soundbaths here. I had no idea who the owner was, how to book or if they even hired out the space as we knew no-one at all.

Just before this, I had been reading/studying all things Womens Circles and one stormy November night I read a story of how the author had walked into a local cafe, befriended the owner and found a lush space to share her offerings ...I thought to myself, I NEED a cafe with a space and a friend - so under the light of the Full Moon i called it in.🌕

The following April the hall opened up its very own Kettle-home Cafe and I befriended the lovely owner Daryl and was gifted a place to share my offerings ....just magical💫

This place will always hold a special place in my heart as will Daryl, we have met and made so many wonderful friendships here.🥰

I never managed to take any photos last night as I was too busy catching up gorgeous Souls and making beautiful new connections too.

These were snapped today as I enjoyed a beautiful lunch and catch up with many dear friends.

💫Look back, but only to see how far you have come 💫

This day 5 years i ago i arrived at my first ever Yoga retreat.
The guilt/ anxiety /stress/fear I felt at leaving the kids/spending money and taking time out for me was INSANELY and painfully off the scale...but i knew i HAD to take time this time - i SO desperately needed it!

My pendulum swing, had swung all the way from
"Who the hell do you think you are " ...to
"WOW - You're doing it Sar, you're living your dream"

What a weekend...i cried an absolute river, i rejoiced, i yoga'd, i shared and I sang my absolute heart out...i was cracked open!

I allowed myself to be held... i was heard and seen in ways i had never been before.
It was the start of the journey home to me ...ALL of ME.
(All of me as in - Not just the shiny, lovely, nice bits i was happy to show the world but the hidden - the not so lovely and not so nice.)

This path home to myself has required above all else Radical Honesty ...and that starts within - How can we EVER expect that from another if we cant do it with ourselves 🙏🏽

Looking back i can hardly believe the internal struggles/beliefs/ways of being& thinking i held onto so tightly...with no idea of a way out or that i even had a choice in the matter.

5 years on ,lots of different retreats under my belt and a much deeper capacity to understand, meet and hold myself with, grace, compassion, love and forgiveness its safe to say i'm pretty good with giving healthily to myself now 🥰

Huge waves of gratitude to the many beautiful souls that have supported me throughout this time - you each have a special place in my heart ❤️

Neither here nor there
In a wasteland so bare

Neither in or out
But its fine... i know what its all about

In the space inbetween what was and what will be
Just need to breathe, unfreeze, open my eyes ....and let it move through me

Time to feel.. to process and then to integrate
Time to see and feel it all before its to late

Before this portal closes and shuts up tight
Before this wisdom is gone ...hidden from sight

Its time to embody ... use it up real good
To put in to practise, ALL that i should

To gleen all gold and step in to this new me
To have faith, belief, and trust in all that i can be

Sitting deep in my wasteland figuring my own sh*te out
