About the role:

Permanent Part-time Carer - 16/18 hours per week - rate of pay 拢10.50 per hour. Shifts will be discussed at interview stage. We offer a company pension scheme and the opportunity to join a private Health Plan.

路 You will be assisting our residents with all aspects of their day to day life. Ability to provide help, support and attention where required.

路 Communicating with colleagues and residences family about the type and level of care required.

路 Assisting with domestic duties as required along with helping at mealtimes for residents and visitors.

路 Organising and helping with events, activities and entertainment for residents and families.

路 Maintaining log books and records as required.

路 Ensuring the home is kept clean and tidy at all times.

If you have a genuine interest in supporting older adults to enjoy every day and get the most out of life then please get in touch. As well as assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, nutrition and maintaining and monitoring health needs, your responsibilities will also include providing companionship and making memories. You will do whatever it takes to help our residents to get the most out of life. More than just a carer, you will be a true friend who champions their dignity and maximises their independence, and you will also have an important part to play in the development of care plans.
You will be closely involved in the general activities of the home and have a responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are supporting. Experience is not essential for this position; however, applicants must have an interest in working with older people and a willingness to undertake training that will enable you to meet the requirements for SSSC registration, and facilitate continued professional development. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a team. To succeed, you should be capable of prioritising your own workload, maintaining detailed records and using your initiative to the full.

Team Leader
We have a vacancy for a Team Leader to join our team at Notwen House Residential Care Home.

Reporting directly to the Care Manager, the Team Leader will supervise the care shift, ensuring the care and support of our residents is at the forefront of our priorities at all times.

Leading our experienced, dedicated, and compassionate team of carers will be extremely rewarding to the candidate with the same attributes and full support will be given by senior management.

Working an average of 42 hours per week (including breaks), over 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next on a set rota.

The company offers a contributory pension scheme as well as paid training and 5.6 weeks holiday per year.

Ideally, you will have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care however candidates with experience within social care and who demonstrate a willingness to work towards this qualification, will also be considered.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team at Notwen house as a nightshift worker.
The role will involve providing a high quality of care that gives our residents security, dignity, wellbeing and promotes their independence.
Ideally we are looking for someone with knowledge of care and that has SVQ 2 in health and social care. However, any candidate committed to working as part of a great team and in providing an improved living of older adults in our care home will be seriously considered.
