This project started with a simple idea:
to create the kind of rune book I always wished existed.
Too often the runes are reduced to quick lists of meanings or modern interpretations with very little context behind them. The Elder Futhark is far more than that. It emerged from a cultural world shaped by language, myth, view and the lived experiences of early Germanic societies.
I wanted to write something that actually explores that depth..
