"My passion for Pilates began in 1999 when I trained with Michael King of the Pilates Institute and I became interested in the mind-body benefits of yoga soon after, completing various training, culminating in my L4 Yoga Diploma."

Join Kim for a Vinyasa class on Saturdays at 09.30 am and a Pilates class at 09.30am on Sundays.

Following successful marathon recovery programs for the past 3 years, we are delighted to organise a 4th edition for the 2026 London Marathon on the 26th of April 2026.

Our Yoga Teacher for Runners, Emma Taylor, will take you through 3 live-streamed recovery yoga sessions starting the day after the marathon, on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 April.

“Whether you’re about to run your 1st or 50th marathon, your body will have accomplished something huge!! Rest is so important after a marathon, but as tempting as it may be to crawl into bed and stay there for a week - it isn’t the best way to recover. Yoga is a fun and low-impact way to help your tired muscles recover, reduce the post-run stiffness and help your body return to a balance. Yoga will also help reduce your risk of injury so you can be back in your running shoes as soon as possible. Even more importantly, post-marathon yoga can help soothe your nervous system after those survival-focused miles, and ease you back into day-to-day life, helping you manage those post-marathon blues! You don’t need to have done yoga before to make it part of your post-marathon-recovery routine. Give it a go in these fun and low-pressure classes - your body and mind will thank you!”

Meet our teacher- Kirsty England - Slow Flow Yoga

"I’m a yoga teacher based on Dartmoor in Devon, where I teach small classes surrounded by the landscape that inspires my practice. I’m 41 and spent many years living and working in London before relocating to Devon to live closer to nature and a slower pace of life.

I’ve been practising yoga for around 20 years and teaching for the past 4. Alongside yoga, I’ve worked in music education and leadership within schools for over 20 years, which has strongly shaped how I teach; creating welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable to explore and learn at their own pace.

My classes are gentle, moving steadily with the breath and giving time to settle into each posture. I’m particularly interested in teaching yoga in a way that reflects the rhythms of nature, often framing practice around the seasonal wheel rather than focusing on intensity within a single session.

My teaching style is warm, calm and grounded, accompanied by a carefully chosen soundtrack. I’m interested in helping people explore how the benefits of yoga extend beyond the mat; supporting balance, awareness and a more sustainable pace of life."

"About Me My relationship with yoga has evolved from a simple workout into a mindful lifestyle. Like many, I first came to the mat for flexibility. Over time, however, yoga became my ‘safe space’ - a sanctuary where I could navigate knee injuries and my diagnosis of fibromyalgia.

As I healed, my once yang-focused, physically driven practice softened. Yin elements found their way in, and my approach became more balanced and therapeutic. Today, yoga is my space to care for both physical recovery and emotional well-being.

My Training & Lineage I completed both of my teacher trainings in India, where I had the privilege of learning from traditional masters who trained directly under renowned gurus such as Krishnamacharya, Pattabhi Jois, and B.K.S. Iyengar. I continue to refine my practice with exceptional teachers in London. Integrating this ancient, traditional approach with Western perspectives allows me to offer my students a thoughtful blend of both worlds - grounded in history, yet adapted for modern life.

My Teaching Intention is to guide every student - regardless of level or need - to use yoga as a practical tool for finding more contentment in daily life. Drawing on my personal experience and the knowledge passed down by my teachers, I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment. It is a space where every student can explore their limits with patience, curiosity, and deep awareness.
