Hello 👋 If you’re new here, I’m Beanie, a Clinical Nutritionist with a special interest in hormone health, gut stuff, blood sugar, and all the little things that make a big difference to how you feel day to day.

I take a practical, down-to-earth approach to nutrition - grounded in science, but guided by what actually works in real life.

My journey with nutrition started at 19, after being diagnosed with PCOS. That experience sparked a proper deep-dive into food, hormones, and what it really means to feel well.

Since then, I’ve trained at CNM, AFMMP and The Autoimmune Academy, and I’ve also studied breathwork, yoga and other tools that support the body and nervous system beyond just what’s on your plate.

You’ll mostly find food ideas, thoughts, tips, and reminders here - things that help me and my clients feel more energised, clear-headed and balanced.

Fibre plays a crucial role in digestive health, and understanding the two main types can help you make informed dietary choices:

1️⃣ Soluble fibre dissolves in water to form a gel-like substance. This type of fibre helps soften the stool by absorbing water, making it easier to pass. It’s beneficial for both constipation and diarrhea, as it can regulate stool consistency.

2️⃣ Insoluble fibre does not dissolve in water and adds bulk to the stool. It accelerates the passage of food through the digestive system, aiding in regular bowel movements and preventing constipation.
