What is Rolfing®?
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a bodywork method that helps bring your body into better alignment with gravity.
When the body is well-aligned around its central axis, it requires less effort to move, breathe, and simply be. This supports your natural ability to heal, adapt, and feel at home in your body.
Developed by Dr. Ida Rolf, the work unfolds through a 10 to 15-session series. Each session builds on the last, gradually releasing tension and reorganizing the body’s connective tissue network—called fascia—for lasting, full-body change.
Is Rolfing® Like a Massage?
Rolfing® does involve hands-on touch, but it’s different from traditional massage.
Rather than focusing only on muscle tension or relaxation, Rolfing® works with fascia to support deep structural balance, improving the body’s functionality.
Sessions may include slow, sustained pressure, gentle limb movements, or guided positioning. You might be invited to bring awareness to certain sensations or participate in small movements—making the process interactive and integrative.
It’s not just bodywork — it’s body education.
Curious, collaborative, and often deeply transformative.
